January 9, 20196 yr I wonder what's causing Legend to sell so well year on year recently :o I definitely wouldn't have expected that ahead of ABBA & Queen especially after this year (am I being dumb? :x) It always seems to be in the top 100 and at the minute or very recently it was reduced on iTunes. I kinda feel the same though regarding the reasons why it’s always charting though.
January 9, 20196 yr Wow the top 50 really is full of GHs collections from the biggest artists, fantastic to see the stabilising albums each year in the hart!!
January 9, 20196 yr Streaming really is helping Greatest Hits albums. Shame to see Pink fall there. I just got that album on vinyl and I’m loving it all over again. Did you pick it up in the HMV sales? Seen it there myself and was tempted!!
January 10, 20196 yr Did you pick it up in the HMV sales? Seen it there myself and was tempted!! Actually got it at an independent store. Got the Arctics debut in the sales though!

January 11, 20196 yr It always seems to be in the top 100 and at the minute or very recently it was reduced on iTunes. I kinda feel the same though regarding the reasons why it’s always charting though. It's a classic album and probably the only reggae album you need really.

January 11, 20196 yr Mad when you look at how big Jessie was for her debut and now struggles to impact at all. Don’t think the Christmas album even went top 100 (correct me if I am wrong). Lungs should go 1.8 million this year overall, so 6 x platinum! :cheer:

Lungs should go 1.8 million this year overall, so 6 x platinum! :cheer: It is indeed re Jessie. I loved her back in her debut era and even now I can’t deny that Who You Are is a fantastic album. She really lost it for me from album 2 onwards and her personality soon become grating too. Adore Lungs too another amazing debut album! I thought it may have sold more in its debut year I’m guessing You Got The Love really helped push sales followed by BRITS? I remember it going to number one like six month after release as it was released the same week MJ died?

January 11, 20196 yr Loads of acts are one album wonders - and they are lucky to have that, it's not a bad thing. I remember, back in the day, Delta Goodrem was equalling and gonna be bigger than Kyiie, Holly Valance was comparable to Kylie in Aus...... They need to embrace the one album - it will give them enough of an income and career for life!
January 11, 20196 yr Yeah poor Jessie her debut so successful (would of been number 1 if not for a juggernaut) and her last album not even making the chart, although tbh she got more floppy with each release (shame as there are a few hidden jams on alive and sweet talker)
