The perfect song to pop ur puss to, yassss ari

I like this waaaay more than 'Thank U, Next' (although I have slightly came around to that recently).

I like it but I dont love it. So far the first 3 singles from the album were better than TUN and 7R

 

I actually prefer the Big Brovaz version so far

This is the weakest of the 3 we've heard from the album so far for me.

 

Although it's still like a 10/10 though. I don't think she's capable of releasing a song I don't instantly love any more. :wub:

Don’t get the hate for this from some people. It’s pop perfection? Absolutely incredible, it’s everything I want from her.

Yeah this seems to be being torn apart in most places which is a bit over the top. My thoughts:

 

The sound of music sample is so done and cheesy, but the rest of the song bops. It’s a bit cringy white girl wasted, but I’m still enjoying it. It’s not as deep and intricate as Thank U Next, but not every song has to me! I reckon it’ll go down really well in a club!

Some of the reactions are ridiculous, of course not everyone has to like it and there's no way they will but I think a lot of people either will just hate everything she does anyway because they only listen to Reel muzik like The 1975, or they won't accept anything less than another Into You. I can see why people don't like it, but I haven't seen much substance as to why people don't, it just feels like the same groups hate on her because she's popular and isn't releasing exactly what they want :drama:

Ari has to be careful, Princess Nokia in on her case as she is saying Ariana has copied and appropriated a song of hers called "Mine". They do sound similar from the clips I've heard, but not too much as it's "only" the structure of the verse that's really similar..

It does sound awfully similar, I think she'll maybe have to add writing credits and hand over some royalties. :o

Really love this. Much more instant than 'Thank U, Next' which I still don't think deserved all of that success. She is smashing it with her single releases.

I like it but it feels much more superficial / shallow than most of her output prior to this and I find it hard to connect with, I always have with songs when they just talk about how much money they have. I still enjoy it though and I think some people's reactions are a bit over the top.

Listened to this 5 times in a row this morning.

 

It’s a definite BOP. I can see why it’s smashing.

 

It’s obviously not meant to be taken seriously and it’s a great song for what it is, I can’t wait to hear this in a club.

 

It’s also very Spotify friendly too I knew it would smash on Spotify as soon as I heard it.
