February 28, 20196 yr Just watched the first 10-15 mins on VH1's youtube - I quite like all the queens so far! It's a great collection of personalities. Yvie's enterance was my favourite by far and definitely the most memorable enterance I've seen in a while. One thing's for sure, untucked is going to be LOUD! :lol:

March 1, 20196 yr so sad Soju got the chop. I feel she had potential. But as soon as I saw her ensemble I knew she'd be bottom 2. that lipsync was not good honestly. The Montrese family continue to have me unimpressed. That Miley undercover thing was so underwhelming. They could've done a better job disguising her tbh. It was SO obvious, even more than Gaga. Oh GOSH Silky was annoying. She's the only queen I was hyped about before the show and now it's like UGH, she seems so try-hard and begging for attention with all the screaming and shenanigans :|
March 1, 20196 yr Author Soju is an odd one, because personality wise I think she was one of the most endearing and instantly likeable, but that dress was a mess and she seemed really unprepared and unpolished. I just think she wasn't ready and was out of her depth. I preferred her look to Kahanna's anyway though, at least conceptually. Kahanna's was so basic and she seems to have 0 idea who she is and doesn't give me a lot, Soju at least had an idea even if she butchered it. The lipsync was obviously Kahanna's but it's nothing we haven't seen before, anyone would have won against that from Soju, Kahanna was almost reading from My First Lipsync and doing all the cliche things Coco and other lipsync assasins might have done, but not being too successful at it. I think Nina, Yvie and surprisingly Miss Vanjie are my initial faves, those three have that kind of personality that you just are drawn to without being overbearing. Nina's outfit was kinda hideous but she sold it the best she could, and at least was honest that it was kinda bad and didn't get delusional about it. On the other hand I sadly have to agree about Silky :( There's a surprisingly fine line between naturally commanding attention (like say Valentina or Monique) and doing the most to get the cameras on you and get the most airtime, and that behaviour is really really grating almost instantly. With a personality like Silky's, there is no need to do all that because she's going to be a real presence. Hopefully it's just the excitement of being there and she calms the f*** down otherwise she's quickly going to have me wanting her out :lol: I'm pleasantly surprised by Brook too, wasn't a huge fan based on the pre-season stuff but I agreed with her winning the challenge! It was the perfect melding of her and Detox's styles, I know that the challenge was using the materials for your own style but hers stood out for being something you could imagine Detox wearing too and Detox's is a style I love so that was always going to be a win for me! I also loved Yvie's look. Plastique's was great but a bit too similar to her promo look. I'm also not getting too much from her personality wise, I hope she's not just one of those pretty queens with not much to back it up but we'll see.
