I’m ready

65. Calum Scott - Dancing On My Own

137. Calum Scott - No Matter What

I think all it needs is one big performance and it would take off on sales. Same with You Are The Reason all that needed was an X Factor performance and that would of been a decent sized hit.

 20 Calum Scott - No Matter What

Album -

 19 Calum Scott - Only Human (Special Edition)

 42 Calum Scott - Only Human (Deluxe)

Getting that chart boost from one TV show  He has no songs/albums in the Top 200 before he performed.

 11. Little Mix - Think About Us (feat. Ty Dolla $ign)

That is bad for LM. It seems they’re not doing good with the LM5 era

new releases

That PSB song has been out for ages. Wikipedia says that "in 2017 the Pet Shop Boys included a version on their album Release: Further Listening 2001-2004, featuring vocals by Elton John."

Interesting.

They aren't having Get Weird/Glory Days immediate success but still too soon to write this off. Think About Us hasn't had a big tv performance like Touch to get an immediate boost from. Still no video either.

Having said that, I expect this era to have a similar level of success to the Salute era. Not monumental, but enough to keep public interest going.

I do find the rent a rap feature rather pointless and wish the label wouldn't keep using it as a crutch to boost each single release. If they are going to do a new single edit, I would rather they just switched up the song more than stick a feature on it. Would love to get a more club based mix for Wasabi, could see that doing well in clubs and dance stations with a good remix.

Didn't they perform it on Graham Norton and The Brits nomination show? That is 2 prime time performances.

The general public seem a bit over Little Mix right now. They obviously still have a decent fanbase but I don't think they are getting much traction outside of that right now.

If Think about us becomes a big hit it will be a 'purchased' hit I feel with the label paying for playlists and radio plugging.

Has Shallow been inside the top 15 ever since release? Also, how long did Shallow spend at #1 on iTunes?

Lowest position is number 18 on 16/12/18.

31 non-consecutive days at number 1 (longest reign was between 14th Oct-5th Nov)

Shallow Knocked out 7 Rings from number 1 on US ITunes. Really a future classic.
