2 weeks top 40 would be hilariously awful. Surely one of the shortest-lived ‘hits’ in the streaming era? Record-breaking queens.

I'd go as far as saying this is their biggest misstep since Word Up.

Agreed.

At a really important stage in their career too (post-Syco) — it's hard to believe how different their positions are compared to a year ago, and just how weak this single is in comparison to anything on LM5.

I love this and even shared it with my much (MUCH) older sister. She's a f***ing hag.

But neither of us stream, so maybe I see the problem.

what i think they need to realise is their shouty / "sassy" music does not appeal to the GP... pretty much people want a Glory Days / Black Magic sound from them...

Am I the only one who didn't like this performance? Great vocals as usual from the girls. But visually - it reminded me of an X Factor contestant's performance. The wire fence and having "Bounce Back" written in graffiti made me wince. There's retro/throwback and then there's dated. There's family-friendly performance and then there's catering to a younger demographic. They need to shake off that Kidz Bop perception that a lot of the GP still have and start thinking "what would Destiny's Child do?"

I saw on twitter that a clip from another music video for bounce back was shown on Lorraine this morning, its an lgbt video. Not sure if and when its coming out?

How is this song fit for a LGBT video :')

They missed that chance with SLS

It’s out.

Tragic. The campaign has been handled very well tbf, just the song is crap.

Yeah, I’ve actually been incredibly impressed with how RCA have handled this campaign. I just hope the song’s underperformance doesn’t deter them from giving the next single a similar push.

A little increase to #41 on Spotify. 152k streams, the highest in a week. The new video helping a little.

Yep. I can see them pushing an album with the same sort of enthusiasm, the material just needs to be stronger/more casually appealing and they're off, again.

I'd like the idea of a Greatest Hits/Studio album combo at this point. Like Olly Murs just recently had.

Ooh nice to see it rebounding and staying safe inside the top 50 at least.
Unfortunately they haven't but if nothing else it has got them another Top 10 hit.
