Posted March 23, 20196 yr After the success of the Singles Eliminator, and their (mostly) stunning back catalogue, it only makes sense that we now begin our Sugababes Albums Eliminator! :w00t: :cheer: The 7 Sugababes studio albums are included here, as well as Siobhan's two solo albums, and Mutya's Real Girl - so, official releases only. As usual, you're voting for your least favourite of the 10 options (listed in order of release). Edited April 1, 20196 yr by rowork
March 23, 20196 yr Author I know it's often regarded as the obvious hate choice for most hardcore fans, but I just have to go with Sweet 7. Given that Sweet 7 was inevitable for 3.0, I openly admit that About A Girl was a good single - I would've loved the initial Keisha rollout to have gone ahead as planned - and No More You/Thank You For The Heartbreak/Wait For You are definitely nice songs... but everything else about that album/campaign was just sickening. Keisha had lost all creative control, and how they were forced to attach their name to songs like Little Miss Perfect/Sweet & Amazing/She's A Mess/Miss Everything is plain wrong. Awful.
March 23, 20196 yr Sweet 7 has aged hideously. The whole campaign was botched and I can’t stand that they re-recorded Get Sexy with Jade after it was released. Drop it from the album ffs.

In hindsight, it's just so bizarre to imagine Little Mix or One Direction etc remove members and carry on with someone else like nothing happened. Can anyone picture imagine Little Mix without the original four girls? It's not a surprise really just how poor Sweet 7 was.
March 23, 20196 yr It really does feel like something from a bygone era! Line up changes now would be even more scandalous I was sold while Keisha was in the band, and the second half of the album was alright at the time but aged badly. I have never really liked Jades vocals on tracks where Keisha’s studio has been leaked. Wait for you is a beautiful track, with Keisha.

What they did to Keisha/the Sugababes name was downright disgusting. Even worse that they expected people to just buy into it.
