Bit of a strong opinion to form of someone based off of a few episode of a TV show

Silky is definitely petty and OTT but it’s always started with Yvie. Making comments like “you’re never going to win being safe” and “change up your look” May be true but there’s no need for her to say that, no one asks. Them she gets all defensive and act like someone else created the problem

 

As soon as she stop criticising everyone else and telling them all their problems I’m sure things will be fine (unless Silky stays petty)

The epsiode was good. I don't think it was the worst snatch game ever though? All the girls apart from Yvie/Brook did well. Nina should've won the snatch game though as Silky was just being... Silky. Not to say she wasn't funny but Nina played two obscure characters and was funny. Not to mention Silky's runway was pretty boring/safe? I'm glad to see Shuga doing well this episode - good snatch game and amazing runway. Akeria/Plastique were both good as well, but I swear Plastique stole part of Brook Lynn's neck piece from her Star Sign runway. :lol:

 

The Yvie vs Brook lynn lip sync was EVERYTHING though. I don't think I've enjoyed a lip sync like that in a long time. I'm also sure I haven't seen RuPaul enjoy a lip sync the way he did with that one. I knew from the get go it was going to be a double shantay. Yvie/Brooke did amazing and I'm so happy Ru called them out as lip sync assassins and that the other girls aren't safe. The look on Silky's previously smug face was great.

 

I believe Vanjie/Shuga will be the next queens to go unless they start winning challenges. They're the only two that haven't won one yet.

I think Yvie’s gave one of the most uncomfortably awkward snatch games ever. But then that lip sync, she was amazing. I still find her character a bit lacking in self awareness to properly warm to her though.

 

Nina deserved!

I can't remember the last season where two queens felt so neck and neck and so far ahead of the pack — even in the bottom, they stole the episode. The final lip sync has to be them.

The inconsistent judging struck again this episode — Vanjie and Plastique (1 million followers on Instagram already? Fan favourite!) getting called out for being samey, yet Silky being rewarded for doing the same thing since the first week. Sigh.

 

How is Silky being received outside of Buzzjack? I haven't seen much said about her on Twitter etc.

She's hated on Twitter unless I just follow the right people, but I follow a lot of fans and I barely see anyone liking Silky. Like, Eureka levels :lol:

Yeah Silky is not liked and the general internet and fan consensus is that Nina should have won Snatch Game.

If anything, Silky is disliked more than Eureka was and I didn't think that would be possible.

I really worry that it's just us people with taste that really dont like her as one of my friends actually said she quite liked her but then she also stanned Scarlet for her looks so :')

You telling me about her and this one guy on Twitter who always has the worst taste are the only two I can think of who actually like her, I'd say it's worse than Eureka too :lol:

Fairly good choice tbh! I feel like in the actual snatch game though hope she intended on not using freaking as much as it became a sort of clutch safe miranda moment!

yeah the "freaking" in every sentence started to grate on me after a bit. i don't think Miranda Sings used it as much too.

 

other than that everything was spot on! although it's easier to judge a pre-rehearsed recorded and edited video. doesn't always translate well into the snatch game format~

Omg her Miranda is SPOT ON! I thought her and Scarlett went far too early :( Two of the most underrated this series!

honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Ariel pop up in a future all stars, she seems like the type that would up her game massively after leaving the show and I do feel like we didn't get a chance to see all she had to offer (as her Miranda vid kinda proves)

omg I cannot stop rewatching that lipsync. Utterly incredible every single time!

I think Silky may be my least favourite Queen to have ever been on the show. So little talent... so much delusion.
