Spice Girls by miles x

I adore Sexy!, it’s an incredibly unique, exciting and completely crazy song... it’s has all the ingredients of a quintessentially Girls Aloud sounding song! It’s in my Top 5 Girls Aloud tracks. It’s almost 12 years old and it still sounds fresh to me.

 

However... I’ve followed my heart and voted for Spice Girls - Goodbye. I saw them live in Cardiff and Coventry recently, and hearing/watching this song performed in a stadium setting was such a special moment. I’ve always thought it’s a really beautiful song, and that feeling was amplified in the stadiums. Love it. :wub:

 

That was a hard choice to make, considering I feel like Girls Aloud have a lot more to give for the duration of the contest... but I felt I had to go purely on how I feel about the songs, and not play it tactically.

 

Kind of a surprised to see that it’s neck and neck at this stage! Assumed that Girls Aloud would have the edge.

This is so close! I genuinely thought GA would walk away with it!!

Goodbye is narrowly the better song for me but GA have much more to offer (Untouchable (their best song) and Call the Shots to name a few). I should really base it on this round though.. so I'm going for Goodbye gah!
