Welcome to Buzzjack's Ultimate Multichart #1 - a brand new game brought to you by Personal Charts!

Over time we'll find out what the crème de la crème of Multichart #1s is, going all the way back 13 years to 2006 and arriving back here in 2019 where Katy Perry currently sits on the throne with her latest single Never Really Over!

Since Buzzjack's Songs Multichart started there have been a whopping 216 #1s - averaging at roughly 17 per year. Now it's time to take a look back at everything that's topped the chart and find out how YOU, the people who got them there, rate them today!

How it works...

To start out we'll have a voting thread for each year (e.g. 2006, 2007, 2008, etc). In these threads, you'll vote for roughly half of the #1s included [this number will be specified in each of the threads]. When voting closes, only half of the songs from each year will progress to the next round where things will be mixed up a bit (more information on that later).

2007 voting...

For 2007, you must vote for EIGHT songs (of the 16 listed in the poll) - no more and no less please.

You may post your votes in the thread, add commentary, hype, or even reflect on your feelings seeing these songs all these years later.

There is no deadline (for now) - let's just see how much interest there is to start with, but I'll aim to give 24 hours' notice before the poll is closed.

If you need an audible reminder of each of the year's #1s, you can find YouTube links below!

Mika - Grace Kelly - Best song out of this lot, very nostalgic.

Kelis - Lil Star - Only discovered this a couple of weeks ago, surprisingly good considering how much of a non-event I usually find Kelis.

Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend - Very cheesy but also takes me back to a good period in my life

Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry - Again wouldn't be my type of song usually but went for it for the memories

Groove Armada feat. Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control) - I keep forgetting what this song sounds like but it's Groove Armada and the song itself is good

Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat - Probably 8th out of the 8 I went for - I don't really remember it but it is a solid song.

Girls Aloud - Sexy! No No No - Again, this is for the memories

Sugababes - About You Now - One of the first singles I ever bought!

Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend

Beyoncé & Shakira - Beautiful Liar

Rihanna feat. Jay-Z - Umbrella

Groove Armada feat. Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control)

Girls Aloud - Sexy! No No No
