Quite like it. Nice vibe. I’m enjoying this era overall.
I don't hate it but it's very understated, I'm not feeling that strongly either way after a couple of listens. It will probably grow if I give it enough listens! I really don't think it's a hit though.

I mean, as resident stan, I've obviously played this many times by now which probably makes it invalid to go OMG IT'S A GROWER but... it definitely is, and possibly at a quicker pace than Small Talk was for me.

The last chorus yet again is the best thing about it and her vocals sound FANTASTIC. I think I feel underwhelmed with Katy songs on first listen when they're not instant because I'm so used to her being one of the most instant artists out there with big choruses but... yeah, this is a lot better than I gave it credit for on first listen.

It kind of reminds me a little bit of Slumber Party, is that just me?

I actually understand that comparison. That's quite an accurate one tbh :o This is just so understated and smooth. It's so chill and it really suits her! Those adlibs at the end *.*

Why can I see this actually, rather unexpectedly taking off on streaming somewhat!? LMAO (Now I've said this, it won't do anything lmao </3)

No but really. This IS a grower. Small Talk was also, but this is an even bigger grower. I've found myself going back for a 4th listen today and I kinda want to repeat it for a while now.
I think it's one of the rare songs I think a rapper would actually improve it. I'm not sure who, and someone who wouldn't pull away from the chilled feel of it.

To me this wasn't even a grower, the hooks were pretty instant - and i think the 'Hula Ula/ Jeweller ' line is kind of genius (Something very Ariana). I get that it's a totally different vibe that you'd expect from Katy, but I'd actually say of the 3 singles released this would have been the most commercially viable (Yes, even more than NRO - despite me obviously preferring that). This just feels like the most 'current' she's been in a long time. So it's a shame they wasted their time with Small Talk; which I never fully got on board with (neither did many others), because I assume that one's underperformance might have hindered the amount of support this gets so soon afterwards.

She looks fantastic in the video too.

I didn't want to be the one to say it, but... yes, totally caught that. B-)

definitely get the slumber party vibes from this. maybe they’ll add a rapper if it starts to pick up some traction?

It's definitely not a hit in a million years, but I do quite like the vibe of it. I enjoyed it more on the first listen than I did 'Small Talk', although the chorus feels a bit flat... I assume that'll grow though.

I do in a way struggle to understand how they hit it out of the park in such a massive way with NRO and nothing since has even been 1/10th of the quality though.

Agreed :(

If this came after a properly pushed NRO and no tattoo gate, sigh, then with airplay this could have been a spotify hit! Especially with a feature on it for a middle 8.
Not sure on this, I do like it, and its really catchy, but its probably my least favourite of the three that she's released. I'm sure it will grow on me and she looks amazing in the video
