It’s been that release date for ages way before NOW announced the postponement of NOW 105

According to amazon, disc 1 has 24 tracks and disc 2 has 22 tracks

David Bowie's 'This Is Not America' will not appear on the reissue of Now 5 as they can't get the rights according to the Now Collectors group on Facebook.

Some sources say it’s on there and some say it’s not. We’ll have to wait till Friday to see when it goes up for pre-order on iTunes if it’s on there

Now have confirmed on their facebook that it's not on there. Read in the comments on their post on the 18th April at 8pm.

 

Now have commented:- "Hey guys, apologies for any confusion. Unfortunately we haven't been able to secure rights for Bowie on this album so he sadly won't feature. Amazon will be updating the tracklist on their site shortly."

It might bother a few people but it doesn’t bother me as all I’d have to do is download the song and paste it into a NOW 5 folder on a computer and I’d still have a complete album

I’m guessing that all UK supermarkets have removed entertainment products from sale. I know the Asda by mine has removed all entertainment products so that means at the moment, you can only buy NOW 5 and NOW 105 from amazon or the HMV website. And in other news according to iTunes, some songs have had 10 or more seconds each shaved off. But pointless really. If they were gonna do that, they could have easily filled those gaps

The official now site are offering 10% off Now 105 with the code Now10 and if you pre-order the album you get 3 months free access to the Now Music app.

 

Will be interesting to see what their first week sales will be like with the absence of HMV and possibly supermarkets not pushing the title as much as they normally would.

That would be a good idea although I do think NOW spin-offs are put on hold this year and they’re just focusing on the numbered series for now

Well some then. I also reckon that NOW 105’s tracklist should have been compiled to coincide with the original release date and not the new one as it would’ve given a wider spread of chart hits

I think it has coincided with the original release date. The tracklisting would have probably been exactly the same had it come out a month ago.

I don’t think BENEE, Little Mix and Matt Lucas would have been on there if they stuck with the original release date

We’ve already said Matt Lucas was a late addition.

 

Little Mix was out March 27th so a week before the original planned release.

BENEE has been gaining traction for a long time so I don’t see why it wouldn’t have been on there either.

 

Anyway, it doesn’t matter and it’s out there now!

I’ve ordered both but Amazon not delivering until Tuesday apparently. And no idea what shops will actually have them out on display as I haven’t seen a new release on any supermarket shelves since March! So I’d expect first week sales to be pretty low.

Yeah I’ve ordered both too and they’re not due until Tuesday. Given our circumstances it was pretty silly to release it on a Bank Holiday but then I guess they have lots of excuses for poor sales this week.

 

I’ve been listening to all the 00s Nows over the lockdown from Now 45. I’m up to Now 71 today so not many left. I absolutely adore the music of this decade, it’s so nostalgic. Even the 2002/3 Nows that are missing some big hits sound really good.

My amazon order also said it will arrive by Tuesday. They should’ve released it last week seeing as the tracklist arrived a week earlier than usual
