Why? He'll ask for the extension but no-one can stop him disrupting the workings of the EU to annoy them. That's not against the law.

He’s has broken the law several times already. There’s bound to be something.

What I do disagree with is all these leaks to newspapers of what he intends to do. If he intends to disrupt the EU then don't let them know beforehand. Let them get a few surprises. He should keep his plans closer to his chest.

DIE. :(

Imagine if Corbyn had done half of what Boris has done over the past few weeks. Do you think you would have been completely accepting of him after being declared unlawful by the Supreme Court? I know I wouldn't have, and I'm a Labour voter.

The hypocrisy and blind support of any political leader really gets me.

Haven't I said for ages that we're too soft with them and should put our foot down and be more aggressive? Trump said the same. Maybe he's had a word and told Boris to get tougher. Sounds like Boris will do this now. May was too soft with them.

HE.IS. NOT. SPECIAL. HE. IS. NOT. A. DICTATOR. ONLY. HARDCORE. BREXSHITTERS. PRESUMBALY. VOTED. FOR. THIS.

Chris only posts stuff to sound quasi-controversial and to get a reaction - I don't believe for a minute he himself believes a word of what he types!

Chris, they are not leaked. They are planted stories by his team. He's planting the story that we might now have to ask for the extension (despite commiting to never extending again) and he will now be really, really, really, really, really tough with the EU. It's all for PR gain to win over the Brexit vote.

Materially, he can do nothing. There is a miniscule chance that he gets anything done now. It's very transparent to anyone who is aware of how news cycles work and who is already against Johnson, but those aren't the voters he's aiming for.

Most preferable outcome at this point is government loses its Queen's Speech and the caretaker PM goes for a well-defined second referendum. General elections will inevitably solve nothing, and they're what Johnson is currently working towards so I hope there is someone in government will have the good sense to outflank him on that.

You mean the same Trump whose advice to May was to SUE THE EU?

Do you not realise how big a tradepartner the EU is to the UK? 46.6% of your exports go to the EU. And those aren't goods exclusively produced by the UK. Do you not realise that by sabotaging the EU, your chances of a decent trade deal get smaller and smaller than they already are? Do you everthink further ahead than a week??

Yes l know that but he's angry isn't he so obviously isn't thinking clearly? It's quite a childish churlish thing to do I admit and will just put their backs up even more but you can't blame him for being angry and fed up when he wanted us out by 31st Oct. and everyone's frustrating him. Everyone has their breaking point. :( It's like a lion. You keep poking it.....Think of poor Boris as that lion being poked now.

Bojo's a clown, not a lion. Bojo voted for Mad May's deal. Why didn't he bring it back? It was certainly acceptable then? He is a f***ing joke trying to force us out so his backers make BILLIONS. He is poking the democratic institutions like a child poking a lion with a stick.
He's not bringing it back because it won't go through again without changes to it. He's trying to change it but Ireland and the EU are seemingly against it. Ireland's Varadkar is a disgrace. He didn't even discuss it with the EU or Boris but virtually dismissed it saying it wasn't acceptable at all.

Stop insulting us by mentioning that dilthy toerag's name!

LOL at that woman. Was just about to post that clip but was beaten to it. :D

I'm sure we already said this to you, but the Irish Taoiseach is in a much better position than other EU leaders to know what is and isn't acceptable to his own country. And in a much more important position. If the Irish aren't happy with it, forget the idea of it happening.

BECAUSE HE IS MAKING FAKE CHANGES TO MAKE PEOPLE LIKE YOU BELIEVE HE IS TRYING. THE ONLY f***ING MANDATE f***ING BREXSHIT f***ING HAS IS A SOFT BREXSHIT WHICH LEAVE CAMPAIGNED FOR. AND EVEN THEN THE MANDATE IS FLIMSY AS TOTAL f***! IRELAND IS INDEPENDENT AND NO PART OF IT VOTED FOR BREXSHIT.

Yes but is it right that he can hold the whole EU to ransom and alone frustrate Brexit like this? It's wrong. Why can't Ireland compromise too?
