Can a Leave supporter please explain how either May's deal (still the only one available) or leaving without a deal fulfils the promises made by the Leave campaign? They said we would get a fantastic deal. They said that they would sort out a deal before triggering Article 50. They said we would have all the benefits we currently get as an EU member. All of it has proved to be a pack of lies. Therefore, their plans cannot, by any stretch of the imagination, be described as implementing "the will of the people".

That object is beneath contempt. How anybody can think him fit for the office of PM is completely beyond me. He has dragged UK politics into the gutter and beyond.

Look I fully realise that we do need more Dr's, nurses,etc etc and have no objection to those coming but we've too many unskilled Europeans also coming at present because they can and that puts a huge strain on housing and the NHS, if not benefits because they can't claim. One point I wanted to make is that on immigration, you cannot, and will not, be able to stop it. On current trajectories of climate. The current migration crisis is going to look tiny in comparison to what will come in the coming decades as vast swathes of land near the equator become uninhabitable. The thing is, conservatives want to curb immigration, but they also don't want to solve the climate crisis. Very soon, those two goals will become incompatible.

 

Having said 'immigration to this tiny island is unsustainable' and 'we want to stop Europeans from coming here' now will look laughable soon. This continues to get me, this whole issue needs to be put to bed, because the country really can't afford years and years of this, when much worse crises are just over the horizon.
