Congratulations Jade. I wasn't a fan of the winner however given I gave the top 11 a combined total of 1 point, and I liked at least 8 of them less I'm going to say it was an ok winner after all! :lol:

 

A decent finish for Salute, was hoping for mid-table is so happy with that, especially after it was stuck at the bottom after a significant number of votes.

I wasn't sure whether to expect points from you as I knew you were a fan from your personal chart obvz (though did not know you'd seen Sampa live!) but I seem to remember with one of my previous entries you charted it but then didn't actually vote for it as it wasn't a discovery - pleased you didn't do that again this time. :wub: Thanks muchly Roba as well!

 

Casually leading after people saying they were surprised it qualified in the semi results thread xx

 

I saw her at Glastonbury, a set I stumbled on as I'd spent far too long in the sun and needed to shelter watching someone in a tent, she was playing opposite the BBC tent where I wanted to watch Easy Life after, she was excellent - a really good discovery. I do sometimes move songs down if I already know them, must have been a good contest for me to have not voted for a song in my chart at all though!

 

I'm not usually as efficient with my votes, if I'd have done as normal you might not have had such the disappointment of the fall from 1st, but wouldn't have got there....

This time I somehow felt that you must be the winner, I didn't really understand why 'Ignis' is not topping the odds. (Yes, I feel wise and super-proud of myself :angel: )

 

I'll take 28th, this year every Q is a win for me, now I'm ready to flop again with something a bit more inspired.

It was a great contest, the closeness of the pointings across the board shows it was pretty competetive, and Singerpurear nestling nicely in 31st again, thanks to everyone who pointed Lene - too many to mention it turned out! She didn't get much in the way of trickle points, but when she got them they were big points, yay! Such good taste :wub:

 

Well done Jade, and the first time in ages I point Jadaphonia in the same contest - and they ignore each other's track! We have entered an alternate universe.... :lol:

Congrats Jade, finally nabbing that long overdue win! Must admit I didn't see your entry as a contender at all but I like to be surprised. It's also the first winner I've pointed since Emerald Princess so glad to finally break that run.

 

29th is round about where I expected to be & is actually an over-achievement looking at that Semi final scrape. Special thanks to Cowtermont & Wholune for the two 18s.

 

Semi results were crazily close once again I see. Great job from Leww taking over & presenting once again!

Took a listen to the song and it's sounding pretty good and infectious so yay (though a pretty different sound for you), can't say whether I'd have pointed it or not, but hey it's an achievement getting that first time winner without points from me or Bré *__

 

I only heard half of these songs, but my 18 would've very likely been Lotunia, wonderful to see emotional classical instrumentals still resonate enough to get top 10 :wub:
