No. Stop the hyperbole. It climbed six places. #47 to #41 is a six spot jump. It may not be as high as you want it to be but can we stop with the dramatics? You can't just discount it's progress because the songs it overtook were album tracks.

I'm just saying I expected it to actually overtake fewer of the songs that were ahead of it, if you check the songs it left behind they were mostly the Drake ones that are freefalling. The ones that were already on chart and ahead of them are still ahead. It's just that.

I'm so happy at how they manage to recover on iTunes every time they fall... all at full price AND with no video! :wub:

If they'd had video views they'd probably have been 2/3 places higher on every chart so far. Shame one still doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon.

I don’t think they need too at the moment it’s back up to 14 and with charity tracks ahead.

A discount won't effect it's chances of avoiding ACR seeming that it's worked out purely due to streaming.

Oh is it! I still think it’s doing ok without the reduction for now, as soon as songs get reduced they struggle if they are ever put back up in price again.

I think they should do it as soon as possible and should have done it this week. It's peaking on playlists and airplay now, so they should have discounted to coincide with that and to get back into the top 15. Fingers crossed for this Friday.

 

Once a song is discounted it usually stays that way until it's on the way out of the chart anyway. physical stayed 59p for about 7 weeks.
