At #18 is 'Right By My Side' featuring Chris Brown, the second official single from 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' in a bid to become this album's big R&B/Hip Hop song in the US ... it didn't quite hit the mark as it peaked at #51 in the US and #70 in the UK, oops. Despite Chris being on the song, I actually really like the song - full of melody and hooks, but I'm not too upset to see it finish out at this stage.

At #17 is the lead single from 'The Pinkprint', 'Pills N Potions' which saw a surprisingly more vulnerable side to Nicki which surprised many fans upon release. The song speaks of betrayal and is more downbeat in it's approach, a similar theme was adopted throughout 'The Pinkprint' in (far superior) songs such as 'The Crying Game', 'Grand Piano' and 'I Lied'. 'Pills N Potions' peaked at #24 in the US and #31 in the UK which seemed fairly poor at the time as 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded', the album before it, was a career peak for Nicki. Thankfully the single after it saved everything ....

Freedom again and Pound the Alarm I went for now...although any of Right Thru Me, VaVa Voom, Bed or The Boys to go next I'd be quite happy with!

Sticking with 'Pound The Alarm' ofc but can now finally switch to something else for my second pick. Quite close between several of the others but I think I'll go with 'Anaconda' (I'm here for the Sir Mix-A-Lot sample but nothing else about it x).
