Seen some stuff on Twitter that 55 of the constitiuences measured while Tory, were also listed as "too close to call"..

I suspect the exit poll will be somewhat wrong, given the % of voters undecided and how close so many seats were. Although overall it will still be right about the Conservatives having a majority.

One day at a time. We'll see how they like the 5 years of a hard right Tory government they voted for x

I am confused, though. There was a youthquake?

They're doing away with the fixed term parliament act, they potentially can hold another election in 8,9,10 years if they want, and they absolutely will, don't put it past them.

Mark my words they will force most people into misery and cling on for as long as they can.

seriously.....f*** them...and every single person that voted for them.

I can't be dealing with false hope right now

Don't you believe in democracy though? If the electorate have voted for a Tory government then so be it. Something must have attracted them to the big bad evil Tories. It begins with B.

I suspect this is the more likely outcome, the Tories have a majority but a small margin.

Are you going to bed? You may wake to a Labour majority. :o

Remember guys, not one result is in yet. People do lie to the people in exit poills. My cousin and wife were asked in Penistone and he told them to mind their own business. Wonder if the Tories have taken it then.

I never knew Islington North was the smallest constituency, at 3 sq miles.

They don't ask people directly for the exit poll. They give people another ballot to fill in anonymously and then count those, to try and increase the accuracy.

I am only saying what he told me. A woman outside who looked official asked how he'd voted.

Most likely to be Scotland where there's a margin of error, seats there are very close.

Absolutely sick at the sight of that exit poll. Wonder if I can make an asylum claim here on Brexit grounds 🤔

Only surprise is Scotland - the SNP doing so well.

No surprise to anyone paying attention to Scotland. They’ve done 56 seats before it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that they could do it again. I doubt it’s quite that high but it would be nice to see the back of the majority of the Scottish Tories. The right number of Tories in Scotland is less than the number of pandas at Edinburgh zoo

Kiss goodbye to the Union.

All these idiots like Margaret Hodge straight onto twitter slabbering about Corbyn. She wasn't so loud in 2017!

Something stupid like 47 seats technically classed as marginal out of 59. Absolutely insane place to be in a FPTP election

How can you legally get a independence refeeendum from here when you are at the whim of a Tory PM to grant one?

It's only the SNP and Sturgeon who want another referendum. The Scots mostly don't. They've had one and voted remain. They don't need another and Boris will be right to refuse one.

Could you...just not....just for a bit? Please.

The UK is a sick country. If only God was still up for smiting people who so clearly deserved it :')

At the risk of disavowing my countrymen, this is on the English. We're going to have to rebuild a rump state.
