November 19, 20196 yr it's a total and normal and 1000% expected drop for Snow Patrol, nobody buys CDs anymore and without spotify support in endless playlists you're not gonna get any streaming album points from random fans... it's the new normal sadly I think the ‘nobody buys CDs anymore’ is a bit of a stretch - some artists make up 80-90% of their weekly sales from physicals and paid downloads. The fact that we have Amazon, HMV, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Morrison’s and other online retailers and artists stores selling physicals indicates there is still a market for them.
November 19, 20196 yr Shocked at the fall for The Script. Expected them to be comfortable top10 I think it’s to be expected - even though they are still really popular they have been on a downward spiral and their last album ‘only’ sold 114k - I think this one will do similar figures.

I think the same, both their current and previous albums will result in similar sales. They are doing reasonably well for an act over 10 years into their career and for a 6th album.
