Whose gonna do it this year then?

Usually a really speculative way to make some money. Surely George Michael/Mariah won't be far away?

Still gutted I didn't put money on Ava Max last year.

You'd have lost money so no reason to be gutted xx

Lewis Capaldi, Stormzy and Mariah are at 4/1, 6/1 and 10/1 respectively on bet365 which all seem pretty tempting, although I didn't place any bets last year and not sure I will this year either, LadBaby proved last year the Christmas #1 is never safe from being snatched by some random shitty charity song out of seemingly nowhere (actually LadBaby himself is also at 4/1 again, is he releasing another song? Dear Christ if he is and it gets Xmas #1 again). No odds offered at all for Tones And I weirdly.

Put £10 on Mariah at 12/1 but fully expecting the #1 to be something that comes out of nowhere like last year
She wasn't Xmas number 1. It was Ladbaby

Thanks!

I feel a bit silly now

Maybe X Factor will have some impact again if the winning single delivers, but it is doubtful.

I too would suggest it is a novelty single with some involvement by Ed Sheeran.

For the 17th time: Mariah Carey's best chance at going to #1 is the week AFTER Christmas number 1 as the maximum streams are in the week leading up to Christmas.

The Christmas chart itself will be on 20 December, so well ahead of the mega streams. Please stop wasting your money on this bet, I say this every year!

Am more interested in the albums. Ball & Boe, Robbie? I do think Robbie has a very good chance as he's got lots of promo coming up and an ITV special near Christmas.

I Wouldn't be surprised if Ladbaby gives it another shot this year with a new track/campaign

Rooting for Lewis, a good song as Xmas #1 would be a positive change

Skybet have Robbie Williams as favourite, presumably with 'Time For Change'. I've not heard it but I wouldn't have thought he stood a chance.

presumably the above is constantly updated so checking back in a few days or even hours may show something different.

Currently:

Robbie Williams - 4/1

Lewis Capaldi - 5/1

James Blunt - 6/1

WHAM - 6/1

Chris Kamara - 7/1

Celebrity X Factor 2019 Winner - 10/1

Ed Sheeran - 10/1

Mariah Carey - 10/1

Stormzy - 10/1

Adele - 12/1

Arizona Zervas - 12/1

Little Mix - 14/1

James Blunt 6/1? with what song?
This is the first year I've seen it on SkyBet. I really want to take a punt on something but you can't rule out a LadBaby-like surge from nowhere.
Now Christmas is playing a Robbie Williams 2019 single- his cover of Merry Christmas Everybody alongside Jamie Cullum. Could that be a contender?

Harry Styles' album is released the week before the Christmas chart.

It doesn't matter what song, you bet on an artist rather than a particular song by them.

What I'd like to know is, if you bet on Ed Sheeran, and he's Number 1 as Stormzy feat. Ed Sheeran, would they still pay out?

I wonder if Stormzy will score a Xmas no.1 double :D
