November 27, 20196 yr Little Mix out but as I half suspected ZieZie has replaced them instead of Sigala :drama: Sigala better not be peaking at #41.
November 27, 20196 yr Sigala to peak at #41 *.* (That ZieZie song though... is not great x was hoping for better after how much I liked 'Buss Down'. I actually like the DigDat/D-Block Europe song more oops!) Coldplay back down to just selling 5k-ish yesterday, looks like they'll be on course for 75-85k ish depending on how much upweighting streams helps them at the end of the week (and I guess the Radio 1 promo will help a bit too). Third highest debut sales of the year after Ed and Lewis then (maybe a remote chance they could just beat Lewis), I guess it could be worse although I am still disappointed at them not doing 6 figures.
November 27, 20196 yr Is this the new version of Lewis Capaldis album on the chart or the original? Their sales are combined.
November 27, 20196 yr +4.8k for Coldplay +3.7k for RW +4.4k for Rod Stewart +3.1k for Lewis Let's see for next days but I'd say Rod has a chance to be No1 next week if this tendency will stay
November 27, 20196 yr I'm still amazed Coldplay, RW and Rod all released on the 22nd and no one went for the 29nd, which is Black Friday seems weird there's no big release planned maybe Adele is dropping a surprise album :D
November 27, 20196 yr and boo at Boe/Ball kicking The posthumous Cohen album out of the top 5 :( one nanosecond of the Cohen album is better than all the karaoke bullshit that Boe/Ball can ever produce how can people buy that? a karaoke version of the Greatest Showman song, come on, is it the same people that all those years bought the Westlife karaoke albums? :/
November 27, 20196 yr Their sales are combined. With the new version available i thought he would have higher sales.
November 27, 20196 yr It's a real shame, his music is better than before. Thankfully his career as a producer is on the up though, having worked with Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, and most recently Kanye West in the past 18 months. His 'Earthquake' era was quality!
November 27, 20196 yr His 'Earthquake' era was quality! Yeah his 'Electronic Earth' album was brilliant, shame he's faded into relative obscurity since then.
November 27, 20196 yr How long has he been away for though? I'm pretty sure his last notable hit was about 2014. True, but I was thinking also of his demographic and age as well.
November 27, 20196 yr Anyone know what promo is happening this weekend considering it's a quite week it could be hugely influential who ends up maintaining momentum.
November 28, 20196 yr So Coldplay is lucky to do 80k but it is still way better than in the US where it seems to be a colossal flop (struggling to reach top 5).
November 28, 20196 yr Yeah his 'Electronic Earth' album was brilliant, shame he's faded into relative obscurity since then. I just Wiki'd him, I totally assumed he'd released a second album in 2014 but he didn't.
November 28, 20196 yr Coldplay's LP costs already 6.99 pounds :) It’s in Amazons Black Friday deal. Hopefully can gain a few extra sales for them.
November 28, 20196 yr With the new version available i thought he would have higher sales. Its only 3 new tracks and 1 is looking at being top 3 friday, nearly 20k is a good achievement
November 28, 20196 yr So Coldplay is lucky to do 80k but it is still way better than in the US where it seems to be a colossal flop (struggling to reach top 5). I think it'll drop a bit here next week. Robbie and Rod should be ahead. Edited November 28, 20196 yr by common sense
