Will this cover of Stay Another Day trouble the charts on Xmas week?

My teenage heart weeps that Alanis Morissette's voice sounds absolutely shot on that new song. She shaped my teenage years but that is almost unlistenable.

Looks like "Run" could be the first song to be #1 on sales and miss the top 40 entirely

the Alanis song is great, sure her voice has changed but that's normal, we age, voice changes, that's life, unless you auto-tuned

I agree with Sammy, I don't know what's happened to her voice but it sounds almost unrecognisable compared to her classics.

More importantly DMs streams seems to be decreasing, not sure it'll make 80k this week for like the first time in its run. Wouldn't be surprised to see it regain top spot in the new year if it increases enough with the new year playlists.

DM will most likely be Number 1 for Christmas. The industry doesn't really care about Christmas Number 1 any longer.

Just heard Alanis' new song. It's pretty dull. She still sounds roughly the same to me.

Even if iTunes was still relevant to ACR status, she's back ahead because of the XF song plummeting, not because of her rising herself. It looks pretty clear from the mids that she'll have her 2nd week of decline this week so whether or not she'll be in the position to be the default Xmas #1 depends on if she can increase her streams out of nowhere again next week.
