Definitely not! It is the direction he has taken the Labour party in that I oppose. If/when they move back towards the centre ground, I will support them again. I was a Labour member in the mid-90's, don't forget.

Was reading elsewhere that Corbyn's said this week that he won't resign whatever happens. Suppose he has to say that now though.

It's just one of those things that politicians always say, like 'we won't consider any coalition'...

I think he will resign - McDonnell said he would!

Oh if Boris gets a clear majority then he'll go but may stay until a new leader's elected.

Would he still go if Boris was a few seats short and ran a minority government though. Say if neither could form a coalition.?

Yes it would be like him admitting defeat already.

BTW, which channel's coverage will you be watching?

BBC, ITV, Sky News or other?

Hmm, well not Sky as I don't like Bercow and he's on there all night apparently.

Probably BBC1 but may occasionally have a look at what's going on over at ITV.

David must have stepped down when he left QT, unfortunate there's no Dimbleby input for ye first time since the 1940s.

Well, he is over 80. He had announced that 2015 would be his last, but changed his mind when the next one was earlier than anticipated.

The presenter isn't really that important. You could watch with the sound off. The results are more important and they appear on the bottom of the screen usually as well as state of the parties.

Il watch bbc1!

Most people will. It's the channel most Brits trust for important occasions. ITV gets nowhere near the audience for big occasions.

Will stay up some of the night and see how things pan out with the first marginal and swing seats to be announced.
If I wasn't going to work on Friday I certainly would stay up all night. I stayed up for the snap election in 2017, U.S presidential election in 2016 & the EU referendum also in 2016.

I love making a big night of it.

Me too but often get a bit bored around 3am so tend to fall asleep.

You always get that tired point around 1.30-2 but if you push through that I'm usually fine until lunchtime the next day, the following evening once you get up is the worst though lol. Always fun in the summer elections seeing the sun setting as the exit poll comes in and rising again so soon after, around 4am.

Yeah it was strange and sorry to mention this again but when Rachel died we didn't sleep for two full days and nights, not a wink, yet I didn't feel tired at all. I think you get past it at some point.
