Liam Payne is at least 10 places higher in the midweek information than i expected.

I easily expected Camila Cabello to be ahead of him.

That said, interesting to see how Liam's sales perform as the week progresses.

The Who Album would have been only their 2nd No.1 in the UK. They've had 14 Top 10 Singles,

and only 2 got as high as No.2. Their current Album is their 16th Top 10 Album and it looks like

it will be their 5th to Peak at No.2. Their only UK No.1 Album is 'Who's Next', which spent 1 Week

on top, on W/E 18th September 1971. I make many Lists, based on UK No.1 Singles and Albums,

and The Who are the biggest Act not to feature in any of them. 1 week at No.1 is not enough to

get them in any of my Lists. It is a shame, as they made many great Singles, such as 'Substitute',

'My Generation' and 'I'm A Boy'...

If the song is pulling huge numbers at Amazon Music on its own merit, don't you think that non-Amazon Music users who aren't looking to subscribe would buy the song on Amazon?

And as someone said, if 'songs at the top of Amazon's sales chart are selling 5 copies', then why wouldn't she be able to do well there and hit #1? You mean to tell me she gets enough streams from Amazon Music alone to outdo nearly everyone's Spotify + Apple Music + Amazon Music streams combined, but she can't even sell 5 copies on their Amazon store?

I already replied to you, the people that buy mp3s and the people that stream are different people, we see it every week at Apple vs iTunes, the Celebrity XF song was #1 on iTunes selling 3 times more than everybody else but #700 on Apple Music

Clearly 'River' is only being promoted to Amazon Music subscribers anyway. You are more likely to know of its existence if you use the service and they're pushing it to you.

Not really surprising that she's not doing many downloads especially on Amazon where there's barely any download market.

I wonder if we have underestimated Amazon's subscriber base if an exclusive can get 16.8k sales in 3 days. Presume it will end up #5 but that would still be impressive for an Amazon only track right?
The Monday sales didn't get posted on here last week but Joseph did have them behind the scenes, I asked him about it earlier and Tones is down about 300 units from last week's Monday update. Which tbh is kind of uncomfortably close to 'she might avoid ACR again' territory.

Read the thread xx

Yeh DM is usually on 27k on the Monday update so she's not far off it, it'll maybe stop Mariah on the post Xmas week if she avoids ACR this week too.

So what are the odds of DM hitting ACR next week??
Total numbers are irrelevant for ACR. It's just streams that matter so the fact that an unsuccessful contestant performed DM on X Factor tonight probably won't have much impact
I have been listening to Sia’s Christmas album a lot this weekend

A fantastic listen ♥️

So what are the odds of DM hitting ACR next week??

All it needs is to register a decline in streaming equivalent sales (SES) compared to last week*, which was 68,303. So it looks more than likely, I'd put it at 70-80% likely.

*Given the streaming market is unlikely to decrease.

Move for me, move for me, move for me yay aa aa

I legit thought it was moo for me

That last Top 2 of Tones & I and Lewis Capaldi that was one of the worst Top 2s of this year for me. But it happened.
I don't fully know why I'm surprised by ellie goulding do so well with this single, I think it's because her last few singles struggled.
18 John Legend - Happy Xmas (War Is Over) *

That's very confusing - I read it as 'John Lennon'

I wonder if we have underestimated Amazon's subscriber base if an exclusive can get 16.8k sales in 3 days. Presume it will end up #5 but that would still be impressive for an Amazon only track right?

wouldn't it actually be 16.8k in 2 days?
