Still think Stormzy will get there - his streams are still bigger than what Ava/ Ariana were doing at this point last year.

 

Also sales on i-tunes are getting lower and lower over time, so Ladbaby would need a bigger lead than he currently has.

 

 

I think the same, the sales are lower than last year so he will need to continue it all week.

Last year though his Amazon sales were HUGE!

So I still think he’ll be WAY ahead of the race.

What's this Peat and Diseal track?

 

It seems to be a Scottish version of the very Irish sounding original. I like the idea there should be a Scottish version, given the close links between Irish and Scottish traditional music. As for the song itself, Mairead's voice is good in it and definitely a worthy vocal to cover Kirsty McColl's part in the song. Sad to say that the male singer's voice puts me off it a little bit, his vocal style is a bit more rough than even Shane McGowan's.

The new LadBaby track is definitively a vast improvement to the last one and I do at least find the lyrics of the new one mildly amusing unlike the last one. I wouldn't mind too much if it was Christmas #1.

 

The Chris Moyles one isn't great, just one big advert for Radio X really. I think Radio 1 might not play it in the chart countdown as a result.
