I wonder if Duffy’s #2020 caption on social media was about her return to music/new album or the year she would speak out? She’s very brave. I still can’t believe she’s been through something so traumatic.

 

The news about Duffy has obviously made an impact as Rockferry is now in the Top 5 on iTunes.

Look what I found after a quick look in the 'Dance Monkey' thread:

 

after listening quite a bunch of times, I don't have a problem with her voice anymore and really like the song

 

amazed people hate it so much, we've had plenty of awful singers with more irritating singing voices in the charts, Jessie J, James Blunt, Mika, Duffy...

 

and funny you guys mention it as worst #1 when we had 3 horrible Ed #1s in the last 6 months, all of which are 0/10 songs with the stupidest and most cliched lyrics ever

I love her so much. Beautiful song, no chance of a commercial success but then I don’t think she’s going for that.

I didn’t think I’d missed her... but that’s a stunning song!

Really like that, much better than the last one she released imo.

Really like the new track. I really need the album from her - she sounds so good! :wub: I'm hoping Duffy will have an unexpected comeback and do well. I'm sure she'll get big support from BBC Radio 2 at least.

Will this actually be on streaming and iTunes? Or just YouTube?

Wish she would release the songs properly and not just insta or YouTube
