I've not been the biggest advocate of Ariana's music takeover over the last couple of years, and this song came at a time where I was getting bored of Ariana being everywhere, so it's probably suffered slightly because of that, but it's still a catchy song! Lil Nas X's Panini is a great song, finally having a moment to shine when Old Town Road's success had simmered down just a tad - it's fun and stays true to the style he carved out with his debut. Dan + Shay's collaboration with Justin Bieber was quite surprising, and 10,000 Hours is a cute little song, if uneventful. The Weeknd, although problematic, released a tune in Blinding Lights - the better of the two he threw out at once towards the end of the year. Alex Aiono appears in this section, and not for the last time, with I Can't Be Me - one of his better releases of the year. It seemed that with each new release things were going on a downward trend, so I'm glad we got this before that happened. Nina Nesbitt appears with song Colder from her sophomore album. It's a great song, and fits in really well with her distinctive style. Lizzo's Good as Hell didn't really click with me properly until her appearance on X Factor: Celebrity, and that performance went off. The song's so feel-good and infectious, it's great to see her finally getting some traction in the charts with her music. Another Julia Michaels collaboration, and this time it's her feature on James Bay's Peer Pressure - a slight let-down following James' amazing second album Electric Light, but it was good to hear them both together! Ava Max makes another appearance with the follow-up to her debut single, this time with So Am I, a song that has a really positive message in its lyrics, but ultimately failed to live up to expectations following an initial smash. Finally, Isaac Dunbar appears again with another track from balloons don't float here, this time it's blueberry brows, and what a song this is! Towards the end of the EP, it's like we're building up to a momentous finale, and this certainly delivers on that front! Next: 231-240 (Top 300 Songs of 2019)
January 27, 20205 yr Um so 'Fluids' has been a BJSC potential for me too lmao  Great song *. I only just tonight heard 'First Man' as Camila performed it on the Grammys, such a sweet song and performance <3
January 27, 20205 yr Giving a listen to a few songs from your list: Alex Aiono - I Can't Be Me - very smooth, he's got a nice voice and the background instrumentation is very nice as well. Jake Miller - Nervous - a nice dance track, the drop isn't really my thing but the verses/guitar are great and I could see it grow on me as well. PRETTYMUCH - Phases - Not what I was expecting from them (admittedly the only so I remember from them is Teacher so probably not a great base), not sure how I feel about a more serious style from them (and the rapping is interesting as well!) (oops I didn't realise all three sentences ended with 'as well' as well)
January 28, 20205 yr This Love & Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince are my 2 favourite album tracks from the respective artists so I'm delighted to see them here. Ballin Flossin was also my favourite album track from Chance's album but I got bored of it after a week. Still a nice surprise collab though. I love Blinding Lights & Don't Call Me Angel from your last 10. :D

I only just tonight heard 'First Man' as Camila performed it on the Grammys, such a sweet song and performance <3 Omg has it actually?! Glad I'm not the only one enjoying it then! *.* First Man is gorgeous  I haven't watched her Grammys performance in full yet, I've only seen snippets of it, so I'll need to give it a watch soon! Thanks for commenting Jordan  Giving a listen to a few songs from your list: Alex Aiono - I Can't Be Me - very smooth, he's got a nice voice and the background instrumentation is very nice as well. There's another song yet to come (I'll let you decide if it's better) that's incredible pop! Phases is definitely a lot different to most of PRETTYMUCH's music, but it's a very welcome change I think. Would love to hear more songs like that from them. Their other ballad of note, Blind, is incredible! Thanks for commenting as well (:kink:) Pete!! This Love & Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince are my 2 favourite album tracks from the respective artists so I'm delighted to see them here. Ballin Flossin was also my favourite album track from Chance's album but I got bored of it after a week. January 28, 20205 yr Author 231 Steve Void & AUSTN - Without You 232 NOTD & Daya - Wanted 233 AJ Mitchell - Talk So Much 234 New Rules - Home Sweet Hotel 235 Taylor Swift - The Archer 236 MAX feat. Quinn XCII - Love Me Less 237 Lukas James - Easy 238 Josef Salvat - modern anxiety 239 New Rules - Fix Somebody 240 Miss Benny - Rendezvous Miss Benny features again, this time with his highest song in the countdown. Rendezvous was the song that made me sit up and take notice, and it's still such a great tune to date. Introducing us to a world of mystery and intrigue, I hope there's more of this to come. New Rules' Fix Somebody is another song that came before they released their debut EP, and it's one that I'm really looking forward to hearing live (if they decide to perform it, that is). Josef Salvat, somebody who I listened to at the recommendation of Bal, came back to us with a new single modern anxiety at the end of 2019, and it's stunning. He's on form and I'm ready for him to slay me with regular releases, as it seems we're getting at least two new tracks at a time! Lukas James is one to watch for me, his first single Easy was an instant bop, and he's released two more tracks since then, so I'm looking forward to either an EP or album from him in the near future! Easy is pop perfection, and his other singles are just as good. MAX returned to the music scene, after what seemed like a very long time away, with new single Love Me Less - an earworm that gets better with each listen. The Archer took its time to grow on me - I wasn't a big fan of it at first, but slowly it became one of my favourites from Lover when I listened to the album in full, and with repeated listens. I wouldn't say it's up there with the best of her ballads, but it's certainly beautiful. New Rules appear for the second time in this section alone, this time with one of the tracks from their EP - Home Sweet Hotel. It's not as up-beat as some of their other tracks, but their voices are sublime in this and it's pretty emotional. AJ Mitchell pops up again - Talk So Much didn't click with me as instantly as I'd have hoped, but given time it's worked its way into my affections. Granted, it still isn't among his best, but it's not one I'd shun either. After releasing I Miss Myself with HRVY, NOTD came back pretty quickly with another new single - this time a collaboration with Daya - Wanted is another great dance track. AUSTN teamed up with unknown Steve Void for the track Without You, and it's far from anything I'd have expected from AUSTN - it's a fun, more dance-oriented track and I love it! January 29, 20205 yr Author 221 Lana Del Rey - fuck it I love you 222 Alexander Stewart - Backwards 223 Isac Elliot - Waiting Game 224 JP Cooper & Astrid S - Sing It With Me 225 PRETTYMUCH feat. Tjay - Lying 226 Greyson Chance - bleed you still 227 Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber - I Don't Care 228 Zara Larsson - Don't Worry Bout Me 229 Dua Lipa - Swan Song 230 Dermot Kennedy - Outnumbered Dermot Kennedy came back with another slow burner of a hit following Power Over Me, this time with Outnumbered. It didn't click as instantly with me as the aforementioned, but it's still a great track and has a great chorus that I always sing along to whenever I hear it. Swan Song served as a nice little bridge when the campaign for her debut album ended, to now with the hype for her second album in full swing. Swan Song was nothing spectacular, but a decent song. Don't Worry Bout Me wasn't Zara Larsson's best release of the year, but it's still a bop and deserved more commercially. Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's collaboration on I Don't Care was annoying at times given its overplay on UK radio, but it's still a decent song when you haven't heard it in a while. bleed you still has never been my favourite from Greyson Chance's album portraits, and the two times I saw him live I still wasn't 100% convinced, but it's grown on me over time and my opinion of it is a lot better now than when I first listened to the album. PRETTYMUCH appear again in close succession to their previous entry in the countdown - this time with the bop that is Lying, featuring Tjay. They served all the bops quite close together last year, and this was no exception. It was probably the last song they released that was pretty great, before things went downhill a tad with the likes of Rock Witchu. JP Cooper and Astrid S' collaboration on Sing It With Me was a revelation - I didn't expect to like it as much as I do, but it really goes off. There's something quite anthemic about its sound, but it doesn't quite reach phenomenal heights. Isac Elliot's Waiting Game was also another very pleasant surprise. It's a great slice of pop perfection, and set him off on the right track for a series of releases that had me fully on board. Backwards is undeniably my favourite song of Alexander Stewart's - although it didn't make an impact on me until later on in the year, or it would've ended up a LOT higher in the countdown. He really brought perfect pop throughout 2019. Finally, Lana Del Rey makes an appearance with fuck it I love you, one of the tracks from her latest album Norman fucking Rockwell! - a sultry track that goes down a treat! Chance the Rapper & PnB Rock - Cross Me 218 Bastille & Alessia Cara - Another Place 219 Charlie Puth - Cheating on You 220 Bishara - On My Own Melodifestivalen artist Bishara pops up after On My Own was recommended to me by Joseph - it's a cute little track, if nothing spectacular. Charlie Puth released a few songs to remind us he still exists throughout 2019, and although not quite as good as one particular song - Cheating on You is still decent, but far from his finest work. Bastille teamed up with Alessia Cara on Another Place. Alessia's output has been fantastic in 2019, but I'm yet to listen to anything Bastille have released (outside of radio hits) since their debut - this is an indication that I'll probably enjoy their new material! Ed Sheeran's Cross Me featuring Chance the Rapper and... who? features here - it's one of the better songs on the album, although that's hardly saying much. AUSTN's (Austin Brown) song Backup Plan was included on his debut EP Chapter 1: In Betweenin', and it's a cute little track, even if it seems like a poor man's version of Mean. Wave got me back on board the Meghan Train[or] - the chorus is such a delight, although I feel like most of the songs from her upcoming album TREAT MYSELF sound exactly the same as this. Not a good sign. Martin Jensen and James Arthur's collaboration Nobody also appears - a nice change for James Arthur after most of his recent singles have been ballads or songs that don't exactly leave you feeling joyous. it's not u it's me was a great new direction for Bea Miller to go in - and since then she's been on fire with her new material! She's a lot different to the girl from Not An Apology (which is still amazing), but we love to see it. Allie X and Troye Sivan teamed up more recently on Love Me Wrong - a sad song that goes OFF. Troye and Allie's vocals go together perfectly, creating a soothing, dreamy and powerful ballad. Conan Gray's Checkmate was amazing at the time, but I find that it's not really sounding as great with repeated listens. Thankfully that's not been the case for all of his singles released thus far! Rivers Cuomo & KYLE - Gucci Rock N Rolla Snakehips makes a double appearance in this section, the first being his collaboration with Rivers Cuomo and KYLE on the groovy song Gucci Rock N Rolla. I didn't expect to like this at all, but it's so chilled out, and a great little song. Thomas Headon, another discovery from 2019, appears with song Clean Me Up - a great way to introduce myself to his music, and I can't wait to hear more from him in the [hopefully] near future! JC Stewart's become a favourite of mine in 2019, with other songs yet to appear in the countdown higher up, but Pick Up Your Phone appears here, and while it's a great song, it's not got a patch on his other 2019 releases! Hoping we hear news of an album from him sometime soon! Kesha and Meghan Trainor appear, the former with album track My Own Dance from her new album High Road, and the latter with Workin' On It - a collaboration with Lennon Stella of Polaroid fame and Sasha Sloan. A lovely track! AJ Mitchell's Like Strangers Do isn't one of his best songs, but it's still cute and very enjoyable when I do go back to it. The Script make an appearance here - I've never really been a massive fan of them, or listened to an album of theirs in full. That changed this year with Sunsets & Full Moons, and lead single from that - The Last Time - is a bit of a bop! Isaac Dunbar just keeps on coming and this time it's his song body from towards the end of the year. It doesn't quite reach the levels of brilliance of some of his other songs, but it's quirky and enjoyable nonetheless - a welcome change! Another Bea Miller song drops out in quick succession, and this also marks Snakehips' second appearance in this section. NEVER GONNA LIKE YOU is a great track, and really proves, alongside it's not u it's me, that Bea's artistry and style has changed so much, and for the better. Finally, kwassa appears with sad songs - a great, up-beat song that really clicked with me after a couple of listens. His EP fka kyko is a great listen too! February 2, 20205 yr Author 191 Nina Nesbitt - Black & Blue 192 Julia Michaels feat. Selena Gomez - Anxiety 193 Mark Ronson feat. Camila Cabello - Find U Again 194 Jonas Blue feat. Theresa Rex - What I Like About You 195 R3HAB & ZAYN feat. Jungleboi - Flames 196 Why Don't We - Don't Change 197 Lauv & LANY - Mean It 198 Jack & Jack - 2 Cigarettes 199 Lennon Stella - Kissing Other People 200 Dominic Fike - 3 Nights Dominic Fike kicks off the top 200 in style with his surprise hit 3 Nights - taking off in the UK charts a while after everybody had discovered it and grew to love it! For me, it's not one that stuck around for a particularly long time, but it's a great song. Kissing Other People by Lennon Stella is one of the best things she's put her name to thus far, and it's got me excited for more songs like this in the future. 2 Cigarettes, an album track from Jack & Jack's debut album A Good Friend Is Nice, is a great way to round the album off and their voices are lush together, more-so than on some other tracks. Lauv and LANY's collaboration on Mean It from the former's upcoming debut album ~ how i'm feeling ~ is a great track, and among the best of what we've heard from this Lauv era so far. Don't Change was one of the twelve tracks Why Don't We released in 2019, and it's not among the best but it's a cute song and the lyrics are lovely. Their voices all sound great on it too. ZAYN's most recent collaboration Flames, with R3HAB and Jungleboi, appears in this section. Admittedly it's not one of Zayn's best, however the chorus absolutely goes OFF. The 'light me up' parts are incredible, and with the video having just been released, hopefully it gives the song a (minor) boost. Three back to back collaborations up next, the first being Jonas Blue and Theresa Rex's What I Like About You. Jonas Blue's album was a big surprise for me, so it was great to see this song take off. It's the only song of Theresa's that I'm keen on though. Camila Cabello's feature on Find U Again from Mark Ronson's album Late Night Feelings is one of the reasons to give it a spin - it's what you'd expect from a collaboration between the two, but it's sublime! Julia Michaels teamed up with Selena Gomez for Anxiety - a beautiful little track that slots in perfectly on her EP. And finally, Nina Nesbitt's Black & Blue is one of her finest tracks to date, really enhancing the The Sun Will Come Up... era with its repackaged edition. Next: 181-190 (Top 300 Songs of 2019)
February 4, 20205 yr Author 181 RØYLS - Savages 182 Alex Aiono - Unloving You 183 Isaac Dunbar - onion boy 184 Sam Fender - Hypersonic Missiles 185 Elliot Jones - i'm in love 186 Thomston - Lightweight 187 Mahmood - Soldi 188 Isac Elliot - Somebody Else 189 Mashd N Kutcher feat. Alex Aiono - Better Me 190 Camila Cabello - Liar One of the first tastes of what was to come from Camila Cabello's second album Romance came in the form of Liar. I wasn't keen on this at all to begin with, particularly given it was released at the same time as the far superior Shameless, but I've grown to like it since! Alex Aiono's first of two appearances in this section is his feature on Mashd N Kutcher's Better Me - a bop that really goes off with its chorus, and certainly one of Alex's best to date. Isac Elliot's Somebody Else is a lovely song, and that coupled with his other 2019 release has me ready for whatever's coming next! Mahmood's Eurovision 2019 entry Soldi was a lovely surprise. I've not followed Eurovision in a long time, but after listening to all of the entries, this was certainly a standout. Lightweight by Thomston is a lovely little track; rather uneventful but it's a great listen and his voice I could listen to over and over! Elliot Jones' single i'm in love was a BJSC entry of mine in 2019, and it was a great discovery for me! I love his voice, and starting out with a single like this can only mean I'm gonna love whatever he puts out next! Bring it on. Sam Fender and Isaac Dunbar are next up with Hypersonic Missiles and onion boy, respectively. Hypersonic Missiles is one of the most commercial-sounding tracks from Sam's album of the same name, while onion boy is probably one of Isaac's most... strange songs, lyrically. It's a great one though, with such a good beat! Alex Aiono's second appearance is with his ballad Unloving You. This is up there with the best of what he's released, and it really exposes his beautiful voice. Finally, RØYLS appear with their debut single, and only one that I took any notice of. Ex member of The Tide Drew Dirksen is a member of this band so I was automatically interested given he was my favourite from The Tide, and while this song is good, I don't have high hopes for the future considering they've been pretty quiet on all fronts oops. CHVRCHES - Here With Me 174 Selena Gomez - Look at Her Now 175 Andreas Wijk - MADONNA 176 PRETTYMUCH & CNCO - Me Necesita 177 Why Don't We - Mad at You 178 Daddy Yankee & Katy Perry feat. Snow - Con Calma 179 Noah Taylor - Love You a Lot 180 Nina Nesbitt - Love Letter Love Letter by Nina Nesbitt marks another appearance from the Scottish singer-songwriter in the countdown - one of the best tracks from her latest album (not typing out the full thing again x). Noah Taylor appears with one of the songs from his album The World and All Its Wonders - a cute little bop that really solidifies why I love him so much! Daddy Yankee, Katy Perry and Snow feature with the one-week #1 single Con Calma - it's a bop but I got over it quite quickly, proven with its quick decline in my chart. Why Don't We's Mad at You isn't my favourite of their 12 releases in 2019, but it's still a cute little song that helped tide us over to the next one. Me Necesita is a great collaboration between PRETTYMUCH and CNCO - proving why both are amazing boybands. Not the best from either group, but very enjoyable. Andreas Wijk's MADONNA is one of the best tracks from his album, as well as being one of the more up-tempo ones. Look at Her Now didn't really do much for me when I first listened to it, especially considering Lose You to Love Me was circulating at the same time, but since listening to all that Rare has to offer, it's one of the better tracks. Here With Me by Marshmello and CHVRCHES is a great song, and although it didn't chart very long at all for me, it's still great now when it comes on shuffle. Johnny Orlando's Sleep is one of his best tracks. Featured on his debut EP Teenage Fever, it really proves why he's one of the best upcoming twink artists. Really can't wait to hear more new music from him in the future! Finally in this section, we have David Guetta and RAYE's collaboration Stay (Don't Go Away) - not David Guetta's best work, but it's still a great track that has me bopping along whenever I hear it. February 8, 20205 yr Author 161 Harry Styles - Treat People With Kindness 162 Plested - The Least That I Could Do 163 Greyson Chance - seasons nineteen 164 Diplo & Jonas Brothers - Lonely 165 Conan Gray - Maniac 166 Misunderstood - Juicy Fruit 167 Sam Smith & Normani - Dancing With a Stranger 168 Jonas Brothers - I Believe 169 Charlie Puth - I Warned Myself 170 Lil Nas X - C7osure (You Like) As described in my albums countdown, Lil Nas X's debut EP was a major surprise for me this year, and one of the tracks from that, C7osure (You Like), appears here - one of the strongest on the EP for me alongside the singles. Charlie Puth came back with new single I Warned Myself earlier this year, and with a muted reaction it certainly wasn't the best way to kickstart a new era, but it's a good track nonetheless. It was later outshined by some better releases though. The Jonas Brothers' first appearance of two in this section is album track I Believe from Happiness Begins - one of the better ballads, and strongest on the album overall. Sam Smith and Normani's collaboration on Dancing With a Stranger was a top 5 hit in my chart, but ultimately fails to finish any higher than #167 here - it's not really stood the test of time for me. Misunderstood of X Factor fame appear with their single Juicy Fruit - I loved their fun, energetic style on the show, and this single proves that they've managed to retain that and bring out the bangers! Conan Gray makes another appearance, this time with Maniac - quite possibly one of his best songs to date overall. Having been a fan since before he became as wide-known as he is now, I'm looking forward to hearing his album when it's released in March, and hopefully there's more like this on there. The Jonas Brothers' second appearance here is their collaboration with Diplo - Lonely. This is a great, up-beat track that probably could have slotted in well on their album, but it's easy to see why it worked as a standalone release too. Greyson Chance makes another appearance with one of the tracks from his album portraits - this time the beautiful seasons nineteen, an upgraded version of his song Seasons. Plested and Harry Styles round off this section with their songs The Least That I Could Do and Treat People With Kindness, respectively. The former is gorgeous, and one that I adored hearing live when I saw him in Glasgow, and the latter is such a feel-good anthem that rounds off Harry's sophomore album beautifully alongside title track Fine Line! February 8, 20205 yr Author 151 Emeli Sandé - Same Old Feeling 152 Greyson Chance - timekeeper 153 Meduza feat. Goodboys - Piece of Your Heart 154 FELIX SANDMAN - MIDDLE OF NOWHERE 155 Ava Max - Freaking Me Out 156 P!nk feat. Khalid - Hurts 2B Human 157 Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia 158 Ruel - Free Time 159 Stormzy feat. Headie One - Audacity 160 Katy Perry - Small Talk One of Katy Perry's 2019 releases - Small Talk - appears next, and it failed to make any decent impact whatsoever in my chart following the success of Never Really Over. Small Talk, a Charlie Puth co-write, just didn't have the same oomph to it (and neither did what followed tbh). One of Stormzy's singles from his Heavy Is the Head era, Audacity, is next - it's not my favourite single, but it's spent a fair amount of time in my chart, and it really is great to hear him at his most authentic. Free Time, the title track from Ruel's latest EP is next up, and although not the most standout sounding from the EP, it's a really decent listen. The title track from Dua Lipa's upcoming second album Future Nostalgia appears, and although it took a while for me to really love it, I'm completely on board now and so far it's been 3/3 for her this era (with Physical having just been released last week). P!nk's collaboration on the single version of Hurts 2B Human with Khalid is lovely - I don't think it adds much more to the song compared to the original, but still a standout from what I'd consider P!nk's best album for a while. One of Ava Max's many singles released in 2019, Freaking Me Out, appears here - and it's easily one of her best. Again, it took me a while to like this, but now it's probably very close to surpassing Sweet But Psycho for me. MIDDLE OF NOWHERE by FELIX SANDMAN makes an appearance, and despite him not throwing truck-loads of singles at us in 2019, MIDDLE OF NOWHERE is a really cute little track that showcases how smooth his voice is. Piece of Your Heart, one of the big UK chart hits of 2019, appears next and it's really such a fun, bop-along listen. I'm excited to see if Meduza can produce another track like this in the future because I'm excited. The top two album artists of the year - Greyson Chance and Emeli Sandé - appear in this section with songs from their respective albums. timekeeper took its time to grow on me - initially it was one of my least favourite songs on portraits - but it got there in the end. It's a beautiful song. Same Old Feeling, again, I didn't really pay much attention to at first, but following seeing Emeli live, it all of a sudden clicked into place and it's a real highlight from the album! So very Emeli and so very soulful. Next: 141-150 (Top 300 Songs of 2019)
February 8, 20205 yr Author 141 Lil Nas X - Old Town Road 142 Mabel - OK (Anxiety Anthem) 143 Isaac Dunbar - mime 144 Matteo Markus Bok - SLO-MO 145 5 Seconds of Summer - Teeth 146 MARINA - Handmade Heaven 147 Ruel - Real Thing 148 Isaac Dunbar - woman on the hills 149 Luca Hänni - Bella Bella 150 Ruel - Painkiller Enter the top 150 and we have Ruel making two appearances within just a couple of songs of one another - the first being Painkiller from his Free Time EP. It's a beautiful track, and the lyrics always get me. The second of those songs is Real Thing - one that really clicked for me on tour - hearing him sing it live and tell us all the meaning behind it was lovely; that really solidified itself as one of my favourites from the EP. Luca Hänni of Eurovision fame appears with the follow-up to his Eurovision single She Got Me, Bella Bella - it's such a fun track and shows that he's got a style and he's sticking to it. I'm hoping there's more like this to come from him as we head into the new decade. Isaac Dunbar also appears here with his first of two songs in this section. woman on the hills, from his debut EP balloons don't float here, is one of my favourites and leads up to a so typically Isaac ending of a song. MARINA also appears with the gorgeous Handmade Heaven, from her album LOVE + FEAR. 5 Seconds of Summer's single Teeth from their upcoming fourth album CALM is next - it's not quite as brilliant as Easier for me, but it's still great and really proves that 5SOS mean business with the new direction they've taken with their music. Matteo Markus Bok sneaks in with album track SLO-MO from Cruisin'. This is one of my favourites, although with only eight tracks on the album it's fairly easy to say that ALL of the songs are among my favourites lmao. Isaac Dunbar's second appearance here is his single mime, one of his earlier releases. It's a cute little track, if a bit more uneventful than any of his other songs. The best track from Mabel's debut album High Expectations, OK (Anxiety Anthem), appears here - it was the one that I was immediately drawn to when I first listened to the album, and to this date it's one of the few I'll actually go back to. Lil Nas X closes this section with his hugely popular song Old Town Road - such a brilliant song... about horses x Next: 131-140 (Top 300 Songs of 2019)
February 8, 20205 yr Author 131 Rita Ora feat. 6LACK - Only Want You 132 Greyson Chance - lakeshore 133 BTS feat. Lauv - Make It Right 134 Sam Feldt feat. Rani - Post Malone 135 Taylor Swift - The Man 136 Jack & Jack - Day Dreaming 137 John Newman & Nina Nesbitt - Without You 138 Luca Hänni - She Got Me 139 ZAYN & Zhavia Ward - A Whole New World 140 Why Don't We - Unbelievable Another of Why Don't We's twelve 2019 releases appears, and this time it's Unbelievable - the one where we see them butt-naked running through a desert for the lyric video (my oh my). It's not my favourite of the year's output, but it's certainly a cute little song that does the job. ZAYN and Zhavia Ward's collaboration for the live-action film Aladdin on A Whole New World is sublime. Their voices are perfectly suited for a duet, and it works beautifully, despite not being as great as the original song. Luca Hänni appears soon after Bella Bella appeared, this time with his Eurovision 2019 entry, She Got Me. It's such a fun track, and he was one of my absolute favourites on the night. John Newman and Nina Nesbitt was the collaboration I didn't know I needed in my life. Despite not setting my chart alight, it did manage to make the top 10, and it's such an incredible song (even if the acoustic version is slightly better). Day Dreaming, from Jack & Jack's debut album A Good Friend Is Nice makes it into the countdown - one of the most memorable, and cutest, tracks. The Man was instantly one of my favourite songs on Taylor's seventh album Lover. It's one of the most up-beat on the album, but at the same time carries an important message about how sick she is of dealing with men in the music industry. Slay us all and serve the tea with those lyrics, Taylor. Post Malone by Sam Feldt was one that I'd always listen to and LOVE on the radio, but it failed to enter in my chart at all. It had to appear here in the countdown though because I couldn't ignore the amount of time I've spent bopping along to it. BTS and Lauv's surprise collaboration, Make It Right, was such a surprise and was a treat for my ears. I'm not a massive BTS fan, but this is such a brilliant track and I can't wait for their second collaboration on Lauv's upcoming album. Closing this section we have Greyson Chance with lakeshore, one of the best tracks from his album portraits, and Rita Ora with the single version (and collaboration with 6LACK) of Only Want You, taken from her second album Phoenix.
