Is alexandra burkes version of hallelujah classed as a christmas song, i know it went to christmas number 1 buts its the only x factor winners song that climbs itunes every year (even if its only low top 100 which practically means nothing )

I would consider it as an Xmas song personally!

It's more of a Halloween song imo.

Hallelujah is only charting again (albeit only slightly) because two professionals skated to it on Dancing On Ice on Sunday... i doubt it'd be anywhere to be seen if it wasnt for that.

Yeah I'm a bit baffled as to just how big of a smash it's become. It's pretty much in the One Dance / Shape Of You league. Personally I love the song so I've got no complaints but it's very rare for pure pop songs like that to do as well as it has - especially in Australia where its run at #1 has just been ridiculous!

It was in the top 200 before Dancing On Ice then moved into the top 100 afterwards

Billie's Carpool Karaoke seem to do really well for her, bad guy still #16 and Ocean Eyes still top 40
