Gaga didn't reduce in the opening week for Chromatica I don't think :unsure: It was a few months or so after!

 

But yes, reducing the price is a great strategy and proven to help so they need to do it. I am fully #teamlittlemix getting the #1 this week based purely on the quality of the album!

Someone in the chart thread predicted this (and Kylie) to tumble out of the top 10 next week. I can see it staying top 5 though, where do we all think it'll chart next wek?

If sweet melody carries on like this, I think it can stay top 5

 

Ariana is top 5 this week and that’s done poorly in comparison

I really don't think Kylie or Little Mix will tumble that fast!?

But it depends what kind of effect their promo has. Kylie has more chance of going into the week stronger (This Morning on Thurs + CiN on Fri & Wed + Fri for LM for example) but hopefully top 5! To go top 5 this week in the mids, they needed to do 2k... surely both LM & KM will do close to 5k in their first lot of mids? I just can't see either of them falling much at ALL.

I think they’ll both stay top 10 but both will have a massive sales drop...

 

Can see them both doing less than 15/20k next week (even that’s probably optimistic)

Yes, they probably are.

 

Since it is a new decade, I would also know what records they will break if they reach #1... Spice Girls, All Saints, Girls Aloud and Sugababes don't have #1 albums in different decades :rolleyes:

💀 If they cant do this because of Jesy right now they could just send the signed print at a later date like someone suggested earlier.. It’s a shame their merch is horrific too as they could of done merch and album bundles :D

Everytime they slip behind Ari to #2 on Apple Music the dream starts to fade.

 

HMV data isn’t even added onto today’s figures and Kylie would of outsold LM.

 

The only thing they can rely on now is streaming and it always falls throughout the week.

If they add confetti to today's hits tomorrow it'll help the album streams overall a lot more. Ari has 2 songs on there (as well as POV taking off) which is helping her album stay high on streaming.

I’m looking at future releases and I can’t see anything noteworthy due to be released in December.. obviously hoping Adele doesn’t surprise release or anybody else for that matter, but if Sweet Melody continues smashing there’s nothing stopping the girls from getting number 1 in December or early January 😄
