Is there anywhere still selling the vinyl? They ended up putting the last one on Amazon.

 

A website called MonorailMusic.com seems to still have it in stock for £27.99, it appears to be a record store in Scotland!

If I were them, I would do a re-package to tide us over on maternity, throw on Bounce Back, Heartbreak Anthem, One I’ve Been Missing and Confetti ft Sweetie on CD, tape and double vinyl…

I don’t think that’s very exciting though and I don’t think fans would buy it for Bounce Back / Especially not for One I’ve been Missing which is a Christmas song and totally doesn’t fit with the album.

 

I’d prefer them to just move on now, Confetti (the single) was the perfect way to close and it’s done so well.

 

I’m sure this will go platinum eventually with trickle sales but we just have to accept album sales are at rock bottom now most albums don’t sell past the first week so it’s done amazingly anyway.

It is doing really well! I mean compare it with say 'Future Nostalgia' which feels like the most successful Pop album of last year, it has 8 months on 'Confetti' and multiple versions yet it feels like it only just went Platinum, so the fact Confetti is Gold already is pretty smashing.

Yeah it’s v important to remember that the sales are *so* low atm for albums in general, even after a decent debut week they’re all just fizzling out in sales. I’m sure in 2020 there wasn’t 1 album released in that year that went platinum?

 

On this topic- was anyone kinda surprised that Confetti had vinyl copies ready on the day of release? Now it seems that everyone is releasing vinyls after but for once the girls didn’t follow an annoying trend 🌚

Also i always imagined MLWLYD as a perfect album seller in December 2020 along with SM with an emotional video next to a Xmas tree to serve as a Xmas song

There’s no way we would’ve got 6 singles, they’ve never done more than 4 per era, which makes me doubt Happiness was ever going to be a single, also Perrie confirmed it was always planned that ‘Confetti’ would be the next single.

 

IDK though, I feel like they are on such a roll at the moment that another single wouldn’t hurt.

We got 5 singles in GD ( Shout , Touch, NMSS , Power , Nothing Else )

 

If Confetti was released in February as it was originally planned, we would have get a summer single ( Happiness most likely) and then Breath could definitely serve an album closure after summer

Nothing Else Matters wasn't a single. It had a cute tour video for YouTube but that's it.

I adore Happiness but I really don’t think it would work as a single.

 

I’d love it as a single but can I see it appealing right now to the public probably not.

 

It’s more of a Spring / Autumn single to me?

Yeah, Reggaeton was more a single and it’s actually on the reissue.

And 'A Mess (Happy 4 U)' should have had it's moment, it's such a grower and really radio friendly.
