It has had a good chart run, much better than i ever expected it to have.

I didn't expect it to be there? I'm merely pointing out in response to Brett that there's very little chance it'll be in the chart tomorrow.

No sign of the Wolfe Tones I see. This is why you put someone who actually understands the chart week in charge of your campaigns.

The 3 album signings, 2 ticket/CD bundle shows, reduction to £4.99 at Amazon, HMV, Sainsbury’s and iTunes plus signed CDs on his website for £5 have worked wonders for Stormzy this week.

 

Not to mention avoiding the Xmas run-up... :rolleyes:

 

Is it just me, or do others consider having a Jan #1 album as worth less than one at a busier time of year?

there have always been albums hitting #1 in Jan but sales are not that bad and don't think people consider them fluke #1s, Coldplay did it with A Head Full of Dreams for instance

releasing in mid-summer and going to #1 with super low sales is probably considered a less worthy #1
