The Parachutes singles, Shiver aside, have really done very well so far asides their younger cousins when none even made the top 10 the last time a Coldplay rate was ran, but it is time for another to depart, as Trouble has the highest defeat so far, though it has done so much better than I thought it would do considering some started voting for it around ten rounds ago. Released as the second single from their debut, Trouble is a much more minimalist and stripped down piano ballad with a softer emotional sound than it's predecessor, with lyrics that relate to Chris Martin's own apologies with his band and him acknowledging that it was time to 'stop being a knobhead'. Fears that they were going to be one hit wonders were dispelled when this became their second top 10 single in the UK and number 1 in Iceland (Goals indeed) and helped sales of Parachutes continue to rise and set them up for good things. There were two music videos filmed, the UK one featuring a more low budget take with Martin trapped tied to a chair, and a US release featuring some rather vibrant animation which I don't believe I'd ever seen before now, it looks lovely. I'm very pleased this lasted so long as like most of Parachutes, it has that real stripped back charm and is still quite powerful in it's subtlety, which is all the more welcome when subtle isn't really what they do these days.

You’ve now voted out 2 of my top 3 in a row. I’ll wait and start voting out the songs you love from now on :D

What an incredible top six this is! Going for In My Place this time.

Fix You, easily cos of the bad lyrics

poor Trouble

Not Chez and Jade both having no taste :'( :kink: 'In My Place' would be in my top 3 of the remaining songs along with 'Viva La Vida' and 'Fix You', feels like a three way coin flip to decide which to vote for out of the other 3 though but I think I'm gonna go for 'Clocks'.

Shame we've lost this and VLV or Yellow is still there :(

VLV for me now.

Please can we get rid of In My Place now!!

Top 3 are Yellow>Fix You>Viva La Vida.

Paradise should be in there too 🙁
