Exciting! I loved 'Want You In My Room' and a lot of her last album so I look forward to this
It’s out the day I see her omg gonna see the live debut

Manchester?! Omg me too, I didn't even think about this! HYPE!

She was £2 a ticket on viagogo for standing.
Whenever a new CRJ song is released, I'm looking forward to it, but it never fulfills my expectations. I hope this time will be different...
It's decent but a bit disappointing - but more than anything, the mixing on it is terrible? Doesn't sound finished at all, very strange.

I’m currently using Tidal (because I used a 4 months subscription for £1.99 deal), so my first listen of the track was the Master quality version of it, and it sounded normal to me. Then I listened on Spotify and her vocals sounded noticeably more distant/“muddy” there, so that’s strange!

I enjoy the song, the chorus is already stuck in my mind, and it’s certainly quite a feisty song by Carly’s usual standards:

I had a really nice time with you

I mean, you're sort of a dick sometimes

But someone out there is surely gonna love a dick

Uh, check, please

*_*

Is this definitely the lead for a Dedicated Side B project or is this just a random one off?

I just listened to it, my only thoughts are "what the f*** was that?"

By the end of the song I wasn't sure whether she was describing a breakup or a bad Tinder date.

This is different. Not really what I was expecting at all from Carly. I quite like it, can see it growing by the time I see her on the 19th
Under most other pop artists, I probably wouldn't return to it, but her voice has so much character and charm to it that I feel like I could warm to anything she releases.

Really wasn’t expecting to like the new PCD song more than new Carly...

Not feeling this at all. It’s not awful by any means but it stands out so much because she’s been so consistently great for a while now.

Plus the mixing is terrible!

Mm this isn't good oops. Her voice actually sounds pretty annoying here which I don't think is something I've ever thought about her before. And it copies the cringey spoken 'middle 8' from Taylor Swift's worst songs. And yeah the mixing does sound kind of noticeably off.
This is actually terrible, hard pass

Carly performed Let's Be Friends live for the first time yesterday, in Manchester:

A couple of people on Popjustice said that the song reminded them of Ashlee Simpson, and I certainly hear that!

This was a really cute moment live, but then she makes anything feel like a super bop live. It's definitely helped the studio version to grow on me though.
