Obviously it's not going to stick around for long after this, but fab that they've achieved another #1 - particularly with an album they're so proud of too.

They done well and also increased in opening sales of their previous album, for a band like them thats not the easiest of tasks so well done to them despite me wanting Dua Lipa to be number.

Congrats to 5SOS for another #1! I can see this holding up quite well this week to be honest. They're still #2 on iTunes and it's only going to take 3-4k to reach the Top 10.

Are they still doing offers and bundles etc?

There are no physicals left - everything is still showing as sold out on their website which will impact them for week 2 as the only place to get a physical is HMV/Indies.

Pleased to see them holding at #2 and #3 on iTunes - I thought they would fall away quite quickly.

I believe so! They seem to have had very quick turnover for singles this era
If there was any justice then both No Shame and Wildflower would be big hits, but 5SOS don't seem to be getting the necessary support to have decent success in the singles chart anymore. :(
The album climbed to #2 in the US (133,000 copies), just 5,000 copies behind The Weeknd. 11,000 copies were shipped a week early accidentally, so that error is the reason they missed out on the top spot, oops.

This is really gutting since it's their first album not to make #1 in the US, and due to an error :( I'm very pleased that they made #1 in the UK, but at least if they didn't, they didn't have a streak to uphold anyway..

It's what they deserve for denying Dua the #1 debut tbh x

one word: karma :D

And even with an error of 10,000 copies they still managed to finish ahead of Dua :smoke:

Shocker that band with 3 #1 albums and an obsessive fanbase outsell artist whose only previous album peaked at #27 xx

from those US figures, you cannot really tell who sold more albums

I read 5sos had a tour ticket bundle, did Dua had an album bundle too?

Oh it’s called CALM bc that’s each of their first names

5SOS had a ticket bundle for 1 date which got shipped out early which is why they 10k counted towards the previous chart.

CALM has been reduced again to £4.99 on iTunes and climbed back up (It went up to £7.99 after last weeks price reduction). Should give them a few sales and make week 2 a bit more stable

5SOS fell 1-17 this week, dropping 91.6% week-on-week with sales of 2,926. I'm estimating ~1.2k pure sales and ~1.7k streams.

Presumably in a normal week their fall would be less harsh in sales and position given a lot of the albums above rely mostly on streams anyway.
