Just listened to the album, it’s mostly brilliant. The two singles are really good, although I prefer Dancing and Stop Me From Falling to Say Something and Magic. But some of the album tracks are stunning, especially Dance Floor Darling and Celebrate You!

Where Does The DJ Go? is very Alcazar/Eurovision type disco and I also really like Real Groove and I Love It. Hey Lonely is the best bonus track for me, the other three will need to grow. But the main album is super solid, classic Kylie and almost feels like the album I expected her to follow up Fever with instead of Body Language!

Would be great if she could get another #1 but I love the Little Mix album too.

Love hearing other people’s views on the album outside of the core posters here - also good that there is some appreciation for ‘Celebrate You’

On the Eurovision reference I think there are a couple of tracks that are very Eurovision-esque!

Anyone else get Kiesza ‘Hideaway’ vibes from ‘Real Groove’?
Wish we had HMV open in England, noooooo.

What’s the display like? Oh how much was it instore?

Right at the front of the store, alongside Little Mix with Ariana having a few CDs at the bottom of the display! All the Kylie vinyls were £20 £19.99, both had plenty of CDs left but there were only a couple of blue vinyls left for Kylie.

Disco still #1 and #3 on Amazon Download Chart - not sure how to see how it’s doing on Amazon streaming?
Kylie fans the Deluxe on her website is pre order now for 4th Dec. It won't count towards this week's chart just in case you think it does ...
I think it’s a possibility - Aphrodite reached #19 and KMO #31.

Golden reached #64 but Disco has performed so much better so far over there on iTunes

Yes I also think a Top 40 debut on the Billboard 200 is possible this time around

I hope so - what about Canada? Any chance it will manage to out peak ‘Golden’ which went to #33?

Wow, you know more about her Canadian charts than I do  :P Your insight is prolly better than mine ^_^

I had no idea Golden debuted in the Top 40 in Canada! That's better than I'd expected.

My feeling is, yes, Disco will outpeak Golden. Maybe I'm hanging too much hope on the iTunes global #1s she's scoring, but it feels like the Disco era is starting off stronger than Golden, even beyond UK/Aus.

Not hearing that one I'm afraid! It gives me strong Dua Lipa vibes or it could be a sort of cousin to Madonna's 'She's Not Me'.

Me too! More Dua Lipa than Hideaway. Great song! Loving the vocodering!
The weekend has stayed steady for Kylie on many platforms.

Thanks Pippa.

Pardon my bad, bad, memory....but do you recall it being this way for her other releases as well, Esp when she had competition - like KMO/George Michael's album? I think GM had overtaken her by day 2, right?
