February 14, 20206 yr Bré shared that Mac Miller song previously in the Khalid x Disclosure thread, a really good listen!
February 14, 20206 yr They could’ve done with adding Sam Fender and Meduza and removing Harry Styles and LewCap
February 14, 20206 yr yes for Billie!!! Didn't know Lizzo was releasing the title track as her new single as I was expecting, and similar to the Power over Me case, the minute Rabbit Hole is added to HH on Spotify, then R1 drops it from their playlist :/ surprised Before You Go is still in there...
February 14, 20206 yr Author They could’ve done with adding Sam Fender and Meduza and removing Harry Styles and LewCap I believe the Sam Fender song isn't an official single, and they wouldn't insta-add Meduza. I agree that Harry and Lewis really should have gone this week though.
February 14, 20206 yr Author as I was expecting, and similar to the Power over Me case, the minute Rabbit Hole is added to HH on Spotify, then R1 drops it from their playlist :/ To be fair, R1 have had it on the playlist for 9 weeks, you can't really ask for much more support than that... it's Spotify who are late with adding it to HH
February 14, 20206 yr Great to see Liberty Belle here and not just left to nighttime/6 Music, even though I initially thought it was awful. Bye Time Machine - they really don't let veterans on the A-list very often. Interesting to see former R1 DJ Friction here too!
February 14, 20206 yr Ooooh, that was an unexpected choice for Lizzo. I adore that song so much.
February 14, 20206 yr Pretty decent adds this week, except for that awful Pee Pee song that they couldn't even play on full when it debuted in the charts? Surprised they moved Calvin up to the A-List considering the absolute non event that song has been Edited February 14, 20206 yr by LMLou
February 14, 20206 yr Surprised to see Calvin up to A List. Though it would of been strange to see added to B List and not to move it up. Nothing much of note for me this week tbh.
February 14, 20206 yr Great to see an instant add for Billie on the A-List even if it was obvious. And Sam Smith only B-List material instantly now, fully expect him to be A-List in the next few weeks. Some good NEs for Fontaines DC, Mac Miller & Khaild/Disclosure. Pretty annoyed Bombay Bicycle Club didn't make the A-List.

Yeh it's a brillant album, 'Television Screen' is currently in my personal chart as I wasn't sure if another single would be released!
February 17, 20206 yr [/late] but a very welcome surprise to see 'Blue World' on the playlist, primarily as I wasn't aware it was actually being pushed as a single (and R1 didn't playlist the previous single 'Good News')! One of my favourite songs of the year so far. Highly doubt it'll manage to re-enter the chart though. Just listened to the Billie and Sam songs and surprisingly I think I actually like the latter more on first listen, both of them are good though! I like 'No Judgement' as well (quite generic / Sheeran-alike compared to Niall's other singles but it has a really nice laidback vibe), the rest of the C-List additions this week are mostly pretty decent too (even 'Pee Pee' would be an ok song if not for the awful chorus), the Lizzo song is a little shouty though, I can kind of see why it's being pushed but I don't really see it being a hit, I wish they'd give 'Tempo' more of a chance. Also fantastic to see BROCKHAMPTON have indeed escaped stalling on the C-List like their / Kevin Abstract's previous playlisted songs! :cheer: I expect this one will just stall on the B-List instead but that's still an improvement. Happy to see Love Regenerator and Tame Impala moved up too, a pretty good week!
February 18, 20206 yr Is anyone keeping tabs of artists that are getting instant A/B List adds? From this playlist alone: Instant A-Listed - Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, J Hus/Burna Boy, Lewis Capaldi, The 1975 & The Weeknd. Instant B-Listed - Camila Cabello, Calvin Harris, Anne-Marie & Sam Smith.

Instant B-Listed - Camila Cabello, Calvin Harris, Anne-Marie & Sam Smith. Yeah I maintain a list of them. In 2019, 43 songs went straight to the A-list, compared to just 11 in 2018.
