March 4, 20206 yr DSN was dead in early January? Pretty sure it was still top 5 and has only spent one week outside the top 10 (Xmas week)..?
March 4, 20206 yr Physical’s chart run is reminding me of Never Really Over. This triggers me so much, but same. How far off is it from #10 at the moment?
March 4, 20206 yr Dua [13,844] was 860 sales behind #10 yesterday, and 697 sales ahead of #14! It doesn't seem likely that she'll make Top 10 this week. :(
March 4, 20206 yr I imagine Physical will go top 10 the week the album is released next month. Edited March 4, 20206 yr by iain
March 4, 20206 yr I think it was a bit of bad luck, cos DSN seemed dead in the UK in Early Jan, so I think the label's idea of releasing Physical was initially good At what point exactly?
March 4, 20206 yr I imagine Physical will go top 10 the week the album is released next month. My only worry is that it COULD be on ACR by then...
March 4, 20206 yr I think it's best bet will be when DSN & SYL go to ACR, but then that's assuming newer and bigger releases don't overtake which is likely. It's not looking good right now, all she needs is a big TV performance I think!
March 4, 20206 yr It is unfortunate timing that Physical's first possible ACR week coincides with the album release week... if it happens, that would be so infuriating. Bad planning from her label tbh. Let's hope it manages to avoid that fate, or at least manages Top 10 in advance. It's fantastic that Don't Start Now has managed to hang around for so long by avoiding ACR, but in a way it's a pity that its longevity has denied Physical a Top 10 peak (on what will be two occasions if Physical does end up at #11 again this week). If Don't Start Now was on ACR now, it would be midweek #21 instead of #6.
March 4, 20206 yr what Physical needs to be a top 5 is her label to tell HH to switch the songs and put Physical ahead of DSN but they haven't done it yet so that's why I'm thinking they prefer to keep DSN up also read a 3rd single is coming soon, pushed one release week, which might end all the chances that Physical had
March 4, 20206 yr they're probably just using Physical as a way to build momentum for the album at this point rather than trying to make it a huge hit when it clearly isn't going to be one. they must be saving her next huge hit for when the album is out.

Physical might be my favourite song of hers by far and it's a sad picture they as a label don't care much about it but it's probably economically better to push DSN to become even bigger of a hit since it's already proved to be a monster. It will sell itself with less effort later on. With Physical you need to start all over again pretty much. I guess it's also better to have a one 'huge' hit from an era and use all of its potential than have one big hit + one Top 10. I'll be fuming if Physical goes on ACR before the album is released lmao. But it's easy to not have that and perform the song somewhere or have it used on some popular TV show at just one point in the 7th-9th weeks on chart~ Maybe they can hire Capaldi for a master class in avoiding ACR. March 4, 20206 yr I just can’t believe how her label haven’t given some Promo for “Physical” Like if she was to perform on Ant and dec Saturday night takeaway that would make it go up the chart I would imagine, When is the voice live? That could help. For me Physical is her best single to date and the best single of the year and I’m just so shocked how it’s not reflecting this in the chart.

She could potentially have Ant & Dec or other TV performances lined up for this weekend?
March 4, 20206 yr I’ve read somewhere it’s Jax Jones and Ella Henderson, Not sure why they are still promoting this single but hey.
March 4, 20206 yr Just been announced that the new James Bond film won’t be out till November because of Coronavirus. I guess the video for “No Time To Die” could be slightly delayed.
