Love this, it's got a great chorus but yeah the buzz round her seems to have evaporated over the last year so she'll be struggling to get a hit out of it which is a shame as it would have got radio support if it followed Sweet But Psycho!

This is now top 10 on US iTunes! Hw tf, I don't even think So Am I did anything there at all

I can see this becoming a decent sized hit! Maybe a slightly better chart performance than SAI? (A couple more weeks and a higher peak, probably?)

(Obviously it all depends on playlisting and airplay ofc)

I can't believe how well it's doing on iTunes around the world. This song is bound to be #1!
I've seen the comparison of this and 'You Give Love A Bad Name' floating around on social media a bit, but I doubt it's solely down to that, wow!

Surely its a sample? Only the chorus part but it immediately made me think of Bon Jovi the first time I listened

Edit: Actually it does sample the Bonnie Tyler's "If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man)" which was written by Desmond Child for Bonnie Tyler in May 1986, but then he wasn't satisfied with its chart performance so gave the music to Bon Jovi to recreate and thus "You Give Love A Bad Name" was born.

There’s something defiantly dodgy about the way it’s performing on iTunes tbh especially in the US as So Am I , torn and the other songs barley bothered the top 100.

Label probably gifting / buying the track because it’s not doing well on AM or Spotify

This will surely be massive, biggest chorus in a long time. She NEEDED this.
WOW! Great to see this doing so well worldwide, my Italian boyfriend adores this and he hates most things in the charts. He liked 'Sweet But Psycho' but nothing by her since.
This is not a bad song. To be fair, all her songs have been catchy so far with the best tracks being sweet but psycho and salt.

To absolutely no one's surprise this song is brilliant. I think the 80's comparisons are what gives it its charm.

This is gonna smash whilst Salt and Torn flopped? Wtf!!!
I never really understood the apathy her label showed her after So Am I flopped everywhere else but Europe and Oceania. Torn could have been huge but her team didn't even try to promote it :drama:
I was gobsmacked to see this top 30 on iTunes the day it was released so the fact it's still top 30 a few days later is absolutely WTF to me  Really pleased!!

Label Payola with iTunes

Or maybe it's just being downloaded enough? It's doing decent on Apple Music so there must be some kind of Apple deal promotion atm. It won't do anything on Spotify until it's added to playlists.

This bangs so hard. I'm obsessed.
