Australian thriller 'The Clinic'. Loosely in the vein of Saw/Wolf Creek. Much better than Saw but not nearly as good as Wolf Creek. I'd give it 7/10. The acting (especially by the lead female was very good though).

Finally watched "The Usual Suspects". I was too young when it originally came out and just haven't got around to it. Shameful I know..

Anyway, it was BRILLIANT. 9/10 :D

I think we all know that when LIAM CUNTING NEESON is the ''STAR'' of a film, it's best to pretend it doesn't exist.

(Schindler's List being the exception to this rule)

'Taken 2' was really bad. :( Such a massive step down from number 1!

I'm am just starting the second film in my Charlie's Angels movie marathon.

Fabulously trashy shit. There is nothing better in life!

I loved the Charlie's Angels movies

I watched "Identity Thief" with my brother. It's the best comedy of the year for me. Melissa McCarthy with Jason Bateman are hilarious!!!
I adore Jason Bateman, but I couldn't get into 'Identity Thief', at all. The best comedy of the year for me so far is 'This Is the End', yes I preferred it to 'The World's End', but overall films have generally been a lot weaker this year compared to last year. I've only "loved" about 3 or 4 this year, where as my end of year list last year had about 12 or 13.

'The Way Way Back' is a good film! I don't like Steve Carrell playing a bit of an arsehole though, but he did well enough!

OMG

Loved The Way Way Back soooo much! I felt the same way about Steve Carrell's character though, it was just WEIRD.

Allison was hilarious and Sam Rockwell's character (Owen) was my absolute fave  His bond with Duncan was so beautiful to watch.

Honestly one of the top 5 movies I've ever seen  I need this on DVD!

But back to the topic of actual DVDs, I watched The Sapphires last night

As a fan of both Chris O'Dowd and Jessica Mauboy, I knew they would impress me and they didn't disappoint! The music especially was great!

Sadly though I never knew that Whatta Man was a 60s soul track :o All this time I had believed Salt n Pepa had come up with that themselves :(

Junebug. I will give anything with Amy Adams a go and this is one movie of hers that I hadn't seen and which people tend to mention alot when talking about her.

All I can say is that she deserved that Oscar nom, she deserved to win too, as she did for all the other ones. HOW she doesn't have one, I will never know.

That line when she says she wants her husband to love her like he did in high school always gets to me.

Brilliant movie too. The addition of Ben McKenzie is nice too.
