Yeah I think Problem or Dangerous Woman. I'd say DW could potentially be used later on, but Problem needs to be used now or never...

 

If you've got enough to work with and bypass Problem, go for DW I think.

Yeah I agree with y'all, it's definitely Problem or Dangerous Woman. It might be my imagination idk but Problem does have a few haters while DW is generally liked by everyone so I'd go with the former for that longevity x

Where has the lack of 'Problem' confidence come from? :o is it because people have made comments about it being a bit dated? It came 11th in the Ari singles rate (higher than last entry 'Side To Side'!) so not bad and it was a #1 hit so that's good in terms of chart loons

On the basis that it's a single elimination, I feel like Problem would probably still get enough support to progress. Nothing is guaranteed in this game though, depends how strong the other AF choices are!

Yeah one duff choice and it can be game over no matter how loved they are - like Rihanna with 'Love On The Brain' last time!

 

2 #1 hits vs. a #17 hit but from an era that is adored on BuzzJack :thinking: I guess the DW era ended up being a good move for round 1 in the end :kink:

I’m pretty sure any Ariana lead single could escape coming dead last.

 

I think that thank u, next has potential for being used later in the competition though. So I’d probably say the safest choice is out of Problem and Dangerous Woman. I don’t think Problem is hated tbh I just think people think she’s topped it many times since.

As long as it ain't from Yours Truly, I should imagine the other leads would be safe choices? People are suggesting tu,n but wouldn't that be saved for when you need the BIG guns later on against bigger hits from other artists? :o

Now I’ve thought about it more and not just looked at it from a chart sales/peaks point of view I think thank u, next could be better used now rather than later.

 

It done huge on the charts and stuff but I think this site mainly prefers the Ariana of My Everything / Dangerous Woman. (Or if we’re talking singles sweetener it’s just the album that BJ isn’t keen on so it’s not relevant for this round)

I'd stick with Problem, think that or DW would get through fine. TUN and No Tears are the most popular two imo so can be left til later.

I did a whole plan on notepad (cause of covid boredom) and Problem/Dangerous Woman was my choice here, so... which is actually LIKED more, I'd say Dangerous Woman, she ain't gonna be used in another round.

'Dangerous Woman' doesn't really stick out in her discography for me personally, it's my least favourite of the options available

This was a tough choice as opinion was clearly split down three avenues :lol: but we decided that Dangerous Woman was a good fit for this stage of the contest!

In terms of singles there's no obvious choices unless I'm missing something - maybe 'Quit' at a push but both Cashmere Cat collabs underperformed a bit in the rate :(

 

We also need to save top-tier popular album tracks for later rounds.

 

So, another route could be a song performed at One Love Manchester? :o a lot of people on the forum tuned into that benefit concert so these options have decent exposure. One is Ari's beautiful cover of Somewhere Over The Rainbow - this has proven popular on the forum in the past as it came 2nd in the AFSC round of 'live covers' only behind a Leona X Factor performance. It's on Spotify too so we wouldn't be disadvantaged in the playlist. Then there was also Be Alright - not quite a top-tier popular album track but still pretty popular, as are most songs from Dangerous Woman :kink: what do we think - any strong feelings? :o

Oh god this isn’t a great one for Ari :o Because of the sheer number of voters any album track will be a huge risk but I can’t see any of the others working? Damn her videography x

'Be Alright' would be a great choice - it did very well on the survivor in here just recently, so we know it has fans. My personal choice would be 'Thinking Bout You' but I am majorly biased to THE BEST SONG OF 2017 xo

 

'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' would be a very inspired choice! :o I may need to refresh my memory on it, but it would definitely stand out well and has such a beautiful story behind it too <3

Somewhere Over The Rainbow would be a really nice choice :wub: plus obviously everyone knows it which would help in this round as I'd imagine a lot of not so known album tracks will be sent.
