My first thoughts were 'Tightrope' or 'Sleeping with the Enemy' for B-side/bonus track or 'Can't Get Blue Monday Out of My Head' for remix. What do you guys think?

great news to get through again, i knew all the lovers wouldnt let us down as its just brilliant, cant get blue Monday would be my choice as i adore it

My thoughts were that 'Can't Get Blue Monday Out of My Head' could possibly be well known due to the BRITs performance and it also follows the same structure as the original song so even those who haven't heard it will still probably like it.

That said,it qualifies strongly as a cover version if it was a qualification.

All The Lovers, qualifying and bringing Kylie to the final 10 is so fitting and brilliant.

Blue Monday is a very strong candidate, very well known and ticks the boxes for the requirements of the upcoming round.

not so sure on the danii into the groove or higher by kylie, i cant see either pulling the votes in that would be needed to get through but i could be wrong.

Due to the inconsistencies with this round and a grey area or two, this is now just a SINGLE elimination.

 

(Idk if this will help in deciding whether to go for the slightly riskier choice or not!)

The single elimination will of help in this round to hopefully make the final 9.

I'm here for the suggestion of Tightrope too though, it's so brilliant and I like the idea of people being introduced to such a gem - but it of course has its risks. It seems a lot of forums are leaning towards sending singles that fit the criteria.

Tightrope is really really good but with other forums sending some hit singles that hav ebeen remixed tightrope could get lost among all that.

Yeah the only down point would be that we won't be able to use the original later, however I think there's enough strong choices that will cover future rounds so I'm happy to go with it.

 

'Tightrope' deserves its chance to shine and was my original choice 'penciled in', but with other forums planning on sending singles I'd rather not risk it if we can afford not to.

oh so we are good but of equaling the last result, hopefully we can at least match it.
