Completely agree with you! Maybe the theme should have been called "slower songs" instead, perhaps. I'm kind of surprised that people here have such a fixed idea of what a ballad is tbh (considering we're on a music forum), hmm!

 

I'm one of them. I was really surprised to see Pink's Runaway on that list.

But it's never too late to redefine our concepts.

I still feel pleasantly surprised that Who I Am picked up quite a lot of votes, and also that Naked ended up being safe for us.

 

A slight teaser, but I don't think it'll be hard to choose a great songs for the next few upcoming rounds. At that point it'll really come down to how strong the other forum choices are... if we go out at some point, it won't be because the theme didn't suit us or that it's a "bad" song. Another tease: more solo songs will need to be sent!
