Genesis, Homesick or Garden

 

(because we are not sending Boys Will Be Boys)

I’m not sure how popular ‘Garden’ is on the forum but it’s my favourite of those by far!

For me it’s 100% Garden, Genesis is meh and I don’t like Homesick but maybe the latter will be more well known because it was a single in a few European countries I think?

Garden’s the weakest for me- and did perform the worst on the rate iirc

Running was also a ballad- any feelings on this? I don’t see that as a strong choice too tbf

Dua isn’t known for her ballads so this isn’t the best for us but the good sis always survives!

Never understood why it has such a hard time on here. Her vocals are gorgeous on that song. I think the casual voters will like it too

Homesick is definitely her best ballad for me.

Homesick was ignored in a previous singles round because it was only a single in Belgium and the Netherlands, it's only fair then for it to be an option here!

We elaborated the term for singles during a previous round, due to confusion amongst everyone, and took on board other posters thoughts. So in the interest of fairness and consistency we have to keep that rule in place, which rules out 'Homesick' I'm afraid.

Away from the above though but Boys Will Be Boys would be my choice.

If it's considered that we're not allowed to submit "Homesick" in this round, which one do you prefer to be sent instead? The possible choices are "Genesis" and "Garden". As George mentioned, we're not planning to send "Boys Will Be Boys" and I think the same applies, in a sort of way, to "Thinking 'Bout You".
