43 last week sold 2,977 copies so hopefully it stays top 40.

That's a pleasant surprise! I feel confident that it'll stay Top 40.

 

Interesting to see what its streams are like. 31 streaming sales based on Friday, Saturday and a minimal amount of Sunday is higher than I would have imagined for it.

Well the singles should get some streaming sales.

 

 

Hopefully it can reach 3.3k this week.

Queen of physical sales - with the right week LGTI, ROL etc could get new peaks with proper reissues.

Impossible Princess did so well in retrospect…having 4 variants and it being new to vinyl with its correct title really helped.

 

3500 looks likely.

With the sales so far alone it looks fairly safe to stay top 40.

3k in physical sales is pretty impressive for it - especially as it has already had the Cherry Red picture disc release a few years ago. The strength of vinyl still amazes me - love that it’s back though.

It also highlights how important it is that Kylies albums should all be available on vinyl all year round.

I'm actually astonished to see it as high as #3! :o Obviously will fall a fair bit but will easily stay Top 40.

 

If anyone's interested, 'Impossible Princess' was on 5,879 on the Monday update and finished the week on 6,384 (average of 126 per day for the rest of the week). Will be interesting to see how 'Kylie' continues to sell in the week; if the 183 it did yesterday is anything to go by then it's on track to do more.

Guessing yesterdays sales included some of the delayed shipments (I.e. mine).

Not sure, it’s being stocked everywhere (HMV, Amazon etc.,) which is a plus, but it’s a niche item and apart from a few social media posts I doubt many would even know it’s out.

 

I still haven’t received my Townsend delivery :angry:

i think most sales are delayed ordered from Townsend. i i know a few people bought it from the new Oxford Street Shop at the weekend and probably a few bought for suprise Xmas presents. Hopefully it can sell over 3.6k this week and stay top 40. Lots of late streaming usually gets added which will push it down
