For me it won't be the same as taylor is a brand new album and Kylie is a re release so its in no any way sort of battle, if it was a brand new kylie album it would be a different story.

Taylor Swift releasing 21st October. This may actually grab Kylie a bit more media attention as they will make it a non existent chart battle from a 90s Kylie album v biggest star in the world lol.

 

Can’t see even the media comparing a 22 year old album being reissued on vinyl against a new album from one of the biggest female artists?

 

That week it will all be about Arctic Monkeys Vs Taylor Swift

I really cannot see any sort of talk of a battle between these two releases :kink: Despite that, I am still very much looking forward to this and can't wait to own it on vinyl. Where's the pre-order Kylie! :angry:

Hopefully the pre order links are up soon, it will also help them get a good idea of the demand and have enough available.

If anything, there will be a battle between Taylor Swift and Arctic Monkeys on that week (won by the latter I presume).
That will be a big chart battle and think Arctic Monkeys will win.Id love IP to go top 10 but not sure if it's in anyway possible and is top 40 more realistic.
With 2 big albums out the same day as the Kylie vinyl will see increased traffic on music stores and Kylie could potentially gain a sale or two if it gets the right feature on the sites.

It's gone live on https://music.kylie.com/ ! They have the marble, transparent purple and picture disc - the latter two being exclusive to the store.

 

The one I like the look of the most is the marble one, so that's the one I ordered! I think for now that's the only one I'll get. I still haven't actually heard the album yet :ph34r:

 

I'm glad that effort is going into this release, with a few attractive looking variants. The fans who've wanted this for so many years, this must feel like Christmas!
