It's the 20th anniversary on the 1st October, I guess a link for the vinyl could be included in a celebratory post on social media? Providing it's made easier to purchase of course.

It would have bern nice if they tied in a 20th anniversary cd with bonus material.

Combined with vinyl sales those together could have seen Fever in the running for a Top 10 return.

Kylie has yet to do a special anniversary release in full for any of her albums but if she does, Impossible Princess should be given the royal treatment, vinyls,cassettes and expanded CD but essentially the vinyl treatment.

I’m sure it’ll happen at some point but probably not for a while, I mean Madonna has only just announced reissues of her albums and she has about 10 years on Kylie’s career and a bigger legacy.

With vinyl now really on trend and popular now is the time to get the albums out on vinyl, im sure the vinyl trend will die off again.

Did we know about the cassette already?

The casette doesn't seem to be on the store yet, but YES YES YES. I was so excited when I just saw this on her Insta page and immediately texted like four of my friends. Need this so bad.

Doesn't seem like the white vinyl is available either - that's the one that was announced for National Album Day a couple of months back so maybe they've sold out already?

 

I am rather tempted, although I think I'd prefer the white vinyl.

^ Yeah I'm so confused, you'd think they would have stocked up before Kylie's tweet was posted? :lol: There seems to be copies of both vinyl and the cassette available on other sites but also appear to be selling out fast (and they're expensive - looking at over £20 for the cassette! :drama:).

I didnt realise they were doing a cassette aswell, i would like a copy if i can get my hands on one, with a cassette and vinyl out Fever is def going to be back in the charts next week and possibly Top 40, if they can get the cassette restocked it will would help achieve this.

Managed to preorder the white one from HMV but great that she's acknowledged this and got another colour too! :w00t:

Kylie's previous vinyl releases have sold out and have returned the album in question to the charts

Fever should follow that again and possibly chart higher than other releases as it has the cassette sales to support it which previous vinyl releases didn't .

In hoping it can go Top 30.
