So everyone that pre-ordered the black vinyl version has received an email to say it was listed in error and will be available after the initial limited edition red version has sold out - odd to not have them available at the same time but I guess it means they might be planning to keep it in print for a while on black vinyl?

Hopefully that means that the red and black versions will be dispatched at the same time and count in the same chart week.
The vinyl has been pushed back to 8th March

I know we’re not chasing a chart peak or anything but Feb 23rd seemed to be a good date to release it as there seems to be hardly anything much of note apart from 2 or 3 out that week.

Friday 23rd February

Allie X - Girl With No Face

Amaranthe - The Catalyst

Ghetts - On Purpose With Purpose

I Don't Know How But They Found Me - Gloom Division

Leee John & Bill Sharpe - Intimate Glow

Liam Bailey - Zero Grace

Little Man Tate - Welcome To The Rest Of Your Life

MGMT - Loss Of Life

Nadine Shah - Filthy Underneath

Red Rum Club - Western Approaches

Rod Stewart with Jools Holland- Swing Fever

Rozalla - Turn On The Light [Monday 26th February]

The Snuts - Millennials

Suede - Bloodsports (10th Anniversary Edition)

Fair enough. I’m guessing this is an album that’d be at the lower end of a lot of Kylie’s fans albums ranks?

Ah thanks. I’ve still got a few albums before it until I reach it in my album listen throughs. I’m curious to see what I’ll think of it.

I’m trying to steer clear of reading people’s thoughts on it in detail.

I cant see it coming anywhere near its original peak let alone a new peak.

Agree with this - it’s an album that I don’t want on vinyl but have bought for collection purposes.

The excitement about the release seems quite muted too, it’s a nice to have but won’t have people rushing out to snap up a copy.

Me too, I'm buying out of loyalty rather than for the want of it.

Not that it matters too much in the grand scheme of things as we’re not chasing a chart placing with this album but some fans are posting pictures of already having received the album, seems like the change of release date has caused some confusion - mess <_<
Hopefully its only a small few that have shipped early, as you said we are not chasing a chart position with this release but it would be nice for it to chart as high as it can without mess ups.
Aside from the added bonus of it giving her extra weeks on the chart I genuinely don't care where it ends up tbh

This tbh - the only re-release I was really invested in from a chart perspective was IP.

Hopefully BL does well and clocks up another Top 40 chart week but if it doesn’t then idc.

From all the different re releases Body Language is the one im the least invested in so far, id love to see it back in the top 40 but as others said if it doesnt happen it wont bother me that much.

I never pre ordered so am going to wait for a reduction. I don’t mind paying more for limited edition vinyl, though I think it should always be heavyweight vinyl if they’re going to ask for over £30.

Apparently BL is gatefold, with a black sleeve and an insert. So I’ll definitely pick up a copy at some point, unless it sells out soon of course.

From what I saw on the SayHey FB group it seemed to be only customers in Canada who ordered from Amazon receiving it early, so shouldn't affect anything in the UK?
