We've been discussing the Spice Girls' third studio album 'Forever' a lot recently, so it seems like a good time to do a survivor for it!

Well, the 'drip' sound effect in 'Oxygen' is grating and it really taints the song for me, but if you overlook that (which is difficult) it's a good ballad. I like how the four of them get their own verse. I'll be voting for it soon.

 

However I'm voting 'Time Goes By' first. It suffers from feeling like it goes on for longer than its near 5 minute run time, and it's not the most eventful of songs... it's a bit dull. There's some lovely vocals though.

That was surprisingly hard actually! I nearly went for Time goes by but the vocals always save that song for me.

 

I think weekend love is the ropiest song Mel B’s rap is a mess!

I vote for Time Goes By. It's boring. The only saving grace for it are the vocals, but it just sounds like an unnecessary track on a great album. It goes on for too long...

Voted Wasting My Time.

'Wasting My Time' because it sounds too much like 'Get Down With Me', but without Mel B.

 

I'm sure at one point Melanie C is ad-libbing over herself.

 

I do actually like the song. Forever is so frustratingly close to greatness.
