Late but HOW did One Thing Right not even go Top 40 over there? Is the UK really so hard against country that even fake dance country flops unless it’s Bebe Rexha??

Biography

Travis Scott

Travis Scott has helped define the sound and feel of 2010s rap, imbuing tough, surrealistic trap with a distinctly pop appeal. Raised in the suburbs of Houston, Scott (born Jacques Berman Webster II in 1992) first made noise as an in-house producer for Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, working on the 2012 label showcase Cruel Summer and 2013’s Yeezus, which arrived mere weeks after he dropped his debut mixtape, Owl Pharaoh. He went on to bring his gothic-edged sound to Drake, Migos, Madonna, and Rihanna (“Bitch Better Have My Money”), while his own solo albums—2015’s Rodeo and 2016’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight—playfully drew the commercial center of rap toward the avant-garde. Take 2018’s ASTROWORLD, a swirling, almost psychedelic set that not only managed to pull together Quavo, John Mayer, Tame Impala, and Sheck Wes on the same album, but also had them gel—a testament to Scott’s vision as an artist and superlative curator. Like West, his mentor, Scott has also brought tremendous energy to his live shows, creating a stage-diving, punk-like spectacle that revitalizes a space that too many rappers inhabit on autopilot. - iTunes

Kid Cudi

Kid Cudi is a Brooklyn-based rapper from Cleveland whose debut single, "Day 'n' Nite," became an online favorite in 2008. Fool's Gold, the label of DJs A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs, released the Day 'n' Nite EP in February 2008 and circulated a Crooks remix around the blogosphere, drumming up a lot of buzz in the process (Rolling Stone magazine touted him among its Top Five best indie hip-hop artists of 2008). He also began touring with the Fool's Gold collective, which performed at a South by Southwest showcase. Meanwhile, Kid Cudi planned the release of his full-length album debut. - iTunes

Biography

As a member of the British boy band One Direction, Harry Styles topped the charts, toured the world, and sold millions of albums before going solo in 2016. Reflecting the influence of childhood favorites Queen, Elton John, and the Beatles, Styles' solo material took a more serious and rock-based approach, while still delivering the pop sound his faithful fans desired. His self-titled album debut appeared in 2017 and debuted at the top of the U.S. album charts. Later that year, he made his movie debut in the Oscar-winning epic Dunkirk, which topped American box offices, making Styles the first British artist to secure a number one debut single, album, and film in the same year. His sophomore album Fine Line arrived in 2019. - iTunes

Biography

Little Mix are a British girl group formed in 2011 during the eighth series of the UK version of The X Factor. They were the first group to win the competition, and following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single. The members are Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson.

Little Mix released their debut album DNA in 2012, which peaked inside the top 10 in ten countries including the UK and US. This made Little Mix the first girl group since the Pussycat Dolls to reach the US top five with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut US chart position for a British girl group's first release, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls. The group's second album Salute (2013) became their second album to debut inside the top 10 in both the UK and US. Their third album Get Weird was released in 2015. Their fourth album Glory Days (2016) became their first number one album in the UK, and also achieved the longest-reigning girl group number one album since the Spice Girls' debut album 20 years earlier, and the highest first week UK album sales for a girl band since 1997. In the UK, the group has earned four number-one singles, including "Wings", "Black Magic" and "Shout Out to My Ex".

The group won Best British Single for "Shout Out to My Ex" at the 2017 Brit Awards; they have also received several other awards during their career, including two MTV Europe Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards and two Glamour Awards. As of August 2018, the group has achieved four platinum certified albums and sixteen certified singles in the UK. Little Mix appeared on Debrett's 2017 list of the most influential people in the UK. - Wikipedia

20 Travis Scott & Kid Cudi present THE SCOTTS - THE SCOTTS

I'm surprised this wasn't in the top 10 like other countries.

If they wanted to play Harry, they should’ve played Falling instead of AY and they shouldn’t have skipped the Scotts
Aww not them skipping 'THE SCOTTS' when it's massively grown on me since last week!

Lol, me too.

Does Scott dislike Falling? He's always skipping it. Good to see Little Mix holding onto top 20.

Falling's been played most weeks...!

He said it dropped 11 though  I wish, it would've meant it was #8 last week...!

Biography

A couple of years after he broke into the mainstream with 2009’s So Far Gone, Drake was browsing art in Los Angeles when a piece caught his eye: a big neon sign that read, “LESS DRAKE, MORE TUPAC.” For a minute, he felt angry, embarrassed—he wanted to walk up and rip the sign off the wall. Instead, he bought it. After all, he figured, you get someone hanging your name next to Tupac’s, even if it’s only to take a shot at it? You must be doing something right.

Born Aubrey Drake Graham in Toronto in 1986, Drake became—like Tupac—something of a generational voice, a prism for his pop-cultural moment. Was he an R&B singer who rapped or a rapper who sang? Was he really that sad, or just doing a bit? And if it wasn’t a bit, how could this guy—talented, intuitive, hardworking—really be so down?

From minute one, there was something a little different about him: He could be confessional, vulnerable, but also incredibly coarse; he could make an earnest commitment one minute (“Take Care”) and be drunk-dialing the next (“Marvins Room”); he could convince you he was an underdog from his perch on top of the world (“Started from the Bottom”). Critics—and he’s had plenty—like to point out that he started as an actor: He played Jimmy Brooks in the Canadian teen show Degrassi: The Next Generation. But most of all, he felt like a person—someone who isn’t canceled by his paradoxes, but defined by them.

Though the feelings remain (always feelings, big feelings), the sound—for the most part, courtesy of longtime affiliate Noah “40” Shebib—is always changing: a little dancehall here (“One Dance”), a little house there (“Passionfruit”), some old New Orleans bounce (“Nice for What”), a bit of Wu-style boom-bap (“Started from the Bottom”), some smooth, to-the-minute trap-soul (“Hotline Bling”). Like Kanye, Drake is as much a curator as he is a creator, an artist capable of arranging collaborators from a universe of styles and making them all fit into his personal vision—an approach that has made him one of the most definitive rappers and pop figures of his era. “I obviously spend a lot of time in my own world,” he told Beats 1 host Zane Lowe in 2016. “But when I do take a look at the broader scope of things, it’s often [in the studio]… Even though I don’t directly, literally address things in my music, I’ve always tried to make music that transcends gender, nationality—to try and unify people. Because that’s really what it’s about.” - iTunes
