Hardly top ten on the Hot 100 is it?

Why are you raining on people's parade? It's far outdoing her previous single so it's a strong return to form. No need for an attitude like this imo.

Just say 'bitch' Scott. They never censored Katy Perry's 'Hot N Cold' when that was mentioned in the song.

'Boss Bitch' is such a frustrating song for me - the verses have this awesome '212' type energy to them but the chorus feels quite mediocre in comparison, aw

Many of us thought she'd never see the top 40 again.

Biography

British DJ and producer Joel Corry's bright, bass-heavy house tracks are chiefly inspired by 1990s-2000s U.K. garage and R&B, mixing upbeat rhythms with yearning sentiments. Following several singles released throughout the second half of the 2010s, he hit big in 2019 with a cover of Monsta Boy's "Sorry."

Corry grew up during the height of the U.K. garage explosion, and started to DJ when he was 13. Professionally active as the owner of a personal training business as well as a gym and leisurewear company, he first caught the public's eye when he starred in the reality show Geordie Shore. Corry released his first two dance singles, "Back Again" and "Light It Up," in 2015. He began hosting a specialty show on KISS FM in 2017, and holds down summer residencies in Ibiza, Zante, Ayia Napa, and several other clubbing hot spots. In 2019, he released a cover of Monsta Boy's 2000 U.K. garage hit "Sorry (I Didn't Know)," retitled "Sorry" and featuring vocalist Hayley May. After being featured on the British reality TV series Love Island, the song reached the Top Ten in the United Kingdom, Scotland, and Ireland. - iTunes

Dua Lipa (/ˈduːə ˈliːpə/; Albanian pronunciation: [ˈdua ˈlipa]; born 22 August 1995) is an English singer, songwriter and model. After working as a model, she signed with Warner Music Group in 2015 and released her eponymous debut album in 2017. The album reached number three on the UK Albums Chart, and yielded seven singles, including "Be the One" and "IDGAF", and the UK number-one single "New Rules", which also reached number six in the US. In 2018, Lipa won the Brit Awards for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.

Released in April 2018, the single "One Kiss", with Calvin Harris, reached number one in the UK, and became the longest running number one single for a female artist in 2018. It won her the 2019 Brit Award for Song of the Year. In 2019, she also received the Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and "Electricity", a duet with Silk City, won her the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording. Her second studio album, Future Nostalgia was released in March 2020, to critical acclaim. Its lead single "Don't Start Now" reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100. - Wikipedia

Biography

220 KID

220 KID is a producer/writer/DJ and artist from the UK. The 220 KID name was born after running 220 miles in bright pink pants for charity, after his beloved Godfather passed away. And after running that 220 miles he knew anything was possible. He was soon scouted as a model and has worked for the likes of Vogue, GQ, Nike, Reebok and many more, whilst continuing to develop and perfect himself as an established writer/producer. Over the past two years 220 KID has been working with Grammy nominated producer Grades, One Bit, Camden Cox, Billen Ted, Danny Shah, Jackson, and the infamous Scott Storch (Pink, Christina Aquilera, Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Dre, Sean Paul) to name a few. His broad musical ability has allowed him to write and produce with a wide range of artists also, such as Clean Bandit, Alpines, Frenship, Walking On Cars, Sheppard, and Camelphat, He has most recently been working with Daniel Skye, Jess Boykins III, Amanda CY, Gracey, Maverick Sabre, Bryn Christopher and Ivy Adara. Unquestionably 220 KID has a wide range of production skills, from epic string work to dirty house base lines. Alongside his fresh style of lyrical writing, he has the ability to make any pop song that little bit more ‘cool’. He's certainly one to watch. - Spotify

GRACEY

This is GRACEY - an effusive, preternaturally talented songwriter and future pop dream queen. Despite being only 21 years old, GRACEY is already an in-demand songwriter who has written for some of the biggest names in pop. Now, ‘Different Things’ is her beautifully affecting debut single. Written and produced with her long term collaborator Alan Sampson, ‘Different Things’ is an effortlessly forward-thinking and vividly atmospheric raw depiction of a relationship stretched to breaking point. Cut from the same cloth as Sia and Lorde, GRACEY’s Different Things is a taster of what’s to come from this raw new talent. - Spotify

Yeah it really reminds me of 212 too!

It feels kind of...cringey seeing so many people celebrating and freaking out over Ava getting a top 35 'hit' in the UK charts.

Hardly top ten on the Hot 100 is it?

It's just great that she managed to get a Top 40 hit again.

'Believe It' sounds like all the previous grime style tracks, slow boring and only just having a melody!

Let people celebrate what they want to celebrate! She's comeback from a couple chart flops which is a success for her.

love this one! hope it gets top 20 eventually
Probably the only adjective wrong the others are correct imo ;)

I'd agree, it's definitely not grime though :kink: think of Skepta - Shutdown as an example of what grime music is...!
