It's the missing data being upweighted after Thursday's midweeks. It's not an extra 20k out of nowhere and Gaga will benefit a lot too...

Well there’s an 8k gap between ROM and Rockstar atm. So say Rockstar were to add 20k to its total tomorrow (which is unlikely), I still don’t think it would close that gap completely due to the fact that Gaga is like going to add about 12-15k to her tally also

The gap has only closed by 800 copies. 'Rain On Me' sold 8.2k yesterday and 'Rockstar' sold 9k.

 

'Rockstar' is up 2k on where it was last Thursday. It sold 57.4k by Friday so one would assume it'll manage just under 60k in tomorrow's chart.

 

'Rain On Me' would pretty much beat that after today's sales alone, never mind the missing data it'll have added on top of that.

 

The #1 is pretty much guaranteed.

I'm so impressed! A couple of years back I thought Gaga would struggle to even go top 10 in future but to think she will have managed two more number 1s! :o
I can just see Gaga easily managing a second week at #1 after all this panic of whether she'd get there this week! :lol:
